Semifinals

(1) Evanston 7 (4) York 3

Lily Nassiri scored 6 goals and totaled 6 steals as Evanston defeated York 7-3 to advance to the sectional finals. McKenna Kulman added 2 scores and Meg Schroeder recorded one goal and 3 assists in the win. Goalie Anne Frigo also made 10 saves for the Wildkits.

(3) Northside (2) Lane 6

Natalie Klontz scored the game-winning goal in the final period and Mary Jean Potamites scored 4 goals to lead Northside to a 7-6 victory over Lane at the York Sectional. Goalie Monica Pinkus totaled 19 saves and 3 steals in the win for the Mustangs.

Saturday, May 10

Finals

(1) Evanston 9 (3) Northside 4

Rachel Hudgens scored 3 goals and 7 players recorded goals for Evanston as they advanced to the state tournament with a 9-4 victory over Northside on Saturday afternoon. Anne Frigo recorded 13 saves in the win for the Wildkits.
