Quarterfinals
(1) Mundelein 14 (8) Deerfield 0
Mike Mihel scored 3 goals to lead Mundelein to a 14-0 shutout victory over Deerfield. Brian Coughlin earned the shutout in the net for the Mustangs.
(4) Libertyville 9 (5) Lake Forest 6
John Blankenhorn totaled 3 goals, 3 steals, and 2 assists and Stevie Wimmer and Zach Leboza both scored 2 goals as Libertyville beat Lake Forest 9-6. Jimmy Palac recorded 16 saves in the win for the Wildcats.

Friday, May 9
Semifinals
(1) Mundelein 7 (4) Libertyville 3
Mundelein used a 5-1 second half run to break a 2-2 halftime tie with Libertyville and advance to the sectional finals with a 7-3 victory. Pat Falconer scored 3 goals and added 4 steals in the win for the Mustangs. Libertyville's Danny Lejeune scored 2 goals in the first half and goalie Jimmy Palac recorded 16 saves in the loss for the Wildcats.
(2) Stevenson 7 (3) McHenry 6 (OT)
Stevenson took a one goal lead in the first overtime period and held on for a 7-6 victory over McHenry, as Patriots' goalie Andrey Lomskiy stopped a 5-meter penalty shot in the final seconds to preserve the win. Seven different players recorded goals for the Patriots, who came back from a 4-2 deficit to earn the win. Ryan Forner and Bill Dabrowksi each scored 2 goals and goalie Dan Brucki made 15 saves in the loss for the Warriors.
