*** Sean Davis evens the score with a goal for the
Crusaders from the right side
*** After an ejection, Kyle Rickert's delivers a
left-handed shot to the top right corner and the Redhawks go up 2-1
*** Menis draws a penalty shot and scores to the left
side to give Central a 3-1 lead in the final minute of the opening period

at the end of the period to keep Brother Rice within two goals

hits the post and goes out-of-play
*** Menis gets space at two-meters and goes cross-cage
to give the Redhawks a 4-1 advantage
*** Pat Stablein looks ahead and finds Dennis Herron
wide open for a breakaway goal
*** Stelnicki breaks the scoring drought for the
Crusaders with a goal from five meters, cutting the Central lead to 5-2
*** Stelnicki scores his second straight goal from two
meters and the Crusaders are within two goals at halftime

Quarter 3
*** Jay Howenstine fights off two defenders at two
meters and scores the first goal of the second half for the Redhawks
*** Freeman elevates to come up with a strong block on
a close range shot by Menis
*** Menis draws an ejection, hits the post with his
first shot, but slots home the rebound to put Central ahead 7-3
*** Freeman denies a breakaway lob attempt by Altuve;
Stablein makes a save for Central on the other end at the end of the
period

Quarter 4
*** Ryan Stanley notches his first goal one minute into
the final period as Central takes an 8-3 lead
*** Davis responds quickly with an outside shot to cut
the lead down to 8-4
*** Merely seconds later, Howenstine adds his second
goal from close range; 9-4 Central
*** Davis draws a penalty shot but hits the post and
the Redhawks call a quick timeout
*** Menis fights for position and scores his fourth
goal from the left post to increase the NC lead to 10-4
*** Stelnicki draws an ejection and Davis skips a shot
past Stablein to make the score 10-5
*** After a Rice timeout, Stelnicki scores from two
meters to make the score 10-6
*** Central makes a stop on the defensive end and can
run out the clock on a 10-6 win over Brother Rice
