Loyola goalie Adam Weissert makes a save after Conant drew an ejection on their first possession

Weissert with another save on a shot by Brendan Connolly

Conant's Spencer Lee forces a turnover; Conor Dwyer with a steal; Conant's Mike McGuire prevents a shot with a steal

Weissert makes his third save and starts Loyola's counterattack

Matt Stonequist draws an ehection but Nate LeRoy's shot is tipped over the net

Conor Hulseman with a steal, but Conant goalie Adam Longo blocks a shot by LeRoy on the breakaway

McGuire with a steal, but Weissert gets his fourth save on a shot by Chris Emery and the Ramblers take a timeout with 3:38 left in the period

LeRoy gets open at 2m and takes a pass from Stonequist and scores to put Loyola ahead 1-0

BOYS STATE QUARTERFINALS (5/18)

The state tournament blog will cover all of the action on Friday night from Stevenson High School. Starting with the 4:30pm game between Fenwick and Lincoln-Way East, this page will show live play-by-play for the current game in progress. Links will be provided for games that have already been played with play-by-play from all previous games on individual pages.

We have updated to broadband wireless this year, so the site should be updated more frequently than in previous years.
