elevates to make a huge field block on the other end for the Wolfpack

*** Insalaco finds the right corner from outside and
the Wolfpack have put together a 5-0 run to take a two-goal lead

Quarter 3
*** McKernin assists Ovalle on the game-tying goal as
the second half gets started in positive fashion for the Friars
*** Maureen Barron breaks the tie with a goal from
outside during a 6-on-5 chance and Fenwick leads again 6-5
*** Fernandez evens things up with a dart from the
right side midway through the third quarter
*** Barrett denies Stelnicki after an ejection;
Ignatius still with possession and Stelnicki skips a shot in to make the
score 7-6
*** Ovalle draws a penalty shot and converts to the
right corner to tie the game at 7-7 with 2:32 left in Q3
*** Fernandez finds Stelnicki open on the right wing
and she scores on a 6-on-5 situation after a timeout to make the score 8-7

defensive stop; Ignatius with a stop on the other end

post but her lob just misses and the Friars still trail by a goal
*** Stelnicki with a steal, draws an ejection, grabs
the rebound off a miss and scores from 5m out to put Ignatius ahead 10-8
*** The teams trade possessions without and Ignatius
still leads by two with four minutes to play
*** Yvette Leon drops a pass in to Insalaco at 2m and
her deflected shot criss the goalline to make the score 11-8
*** Ovalle scores on the other end for Fenwick with a
lob and it's back to a two-goal difference between the teams.
*** Ovalle forces a turnover and forces a penalty on
the other end, then scores to make the score 11-10 with under three
minutes left

that sits on the goalline and finally goes in and Ignatius leads 12-11

forces a turnover and we remain even at 13-13

*** The teams trade possessions before Fernandez fires
a shot wide right from 7m
*** Ovalle gets a breakaway chance on the other end and
beats Fleming to give Fenwick a 15-13 lead with just over a minute left
*** Barrett makes a save on an outside shot by
Fernandez, then McKernin makes a steal on the other end for Fenwick
*** Stelnicki hits the crossbar from 9m and Fenwick can
run out the clock on a 15-13 win to earn the Catholic League title
