GAME PREVIEWS
(Saturday, May 23)

SEMIFINAL #1
11:30am - Fenwick vs Stevenson
The Friars survived a scare from an energetic Barrington team to
advance to the semifinal round while the Patriots controlled their
quarterfinal matchup with Lincoln-Way Central from start-to-finish.
Do the hosts have something up their sleeves to help them get past a
team that beat them three times during the regular season? Or will
the Friars stay steady in their mission to get back to the state
championship game after a 32-1 season?

SEMIFINAL #2
12:45pm - St Ignatius vs Lyons
The Lions and Wolfpack meet for the third time in 2015 with a spot
in the state championship game on the line on Saturday afternoon. St
Ignatius got offensive to beat New Trier 20-9 on Friday, while Lyons
put forth an unbelievable effort to get past Naperville Central
13-11 in the late game on Friday night. Which team will get one step
closer to a potential state title with a win on Saturday in
Lincolnshire?
GAME PREVIEWS (Saturday, May 23)

SEMIFINAL #1
9:00am - Stevenson vs Fenwick
The Patriots continued their run at perfection by beating St Ignatius
9-7 on Thursday. More importantly, they moved just two games away from
claiming their first-ever IHSA state title. In order to get to the final
game, they will have to get past the defending champions, as Fenwick
eluded Naperville Central 11-7 on Thursday to move on to the semifinal
round.

SEMIFINAL #2
10:15am - New Trier vs Lyons
The Trevians pulled away from Lincoln-Way Central in the first half of
their quarterfinal round game to earn a 14-3 victory as they now set
their sights on reaching the state title game for the first time in
school history. If they hope to get there, they'll have to outduel
Lyons, who showed they could persevere in a pressure-filled contest
after outlasting Conant 16-13 in overtime on Thursday evening.
