The Hawks made a stop with just nine seconds remaining while trailing by a
goal, but could not score on the other end before time expired. Atheena
Wagner also made 11 saves in the win for the Saxons. Dorota Knaga, Rachael
Gallo, and Sharon Sturnfield each scored 2 goals in the loss, while goalie
Alex Vick made 7 saves for Hoffman.

St Viator 6 (OT)
Trailing 3-1 at halftime, St
Viator held the home team scoreless for the entire third quarter and put
together a 4-0 run to take a 5-3 lead into the final period. Barrington
bounced back, outscoring the Lions 3-1 in the last seven minutes to send
the game to extra time. In overtime, Chloe Padula scored the lone goal to
help the Fillies advance to the sectional semifinals with a 7-6 win over
St Viator. Lisa Danhauer led Barrington with 3 goals, while goalie Brooke
Fanslow made 9 saves in the win. Eileen Mallof scored 2 times and
Stephanie Nolan stopped 12 shots in the loss for the Lions.

Top-seeded H-F cruised to an
18-4 win over LWW in the quarterfinal round, with ten different players
recording goals to send them to the semifinals. Rebecca Mathews led the
way with 8 goals, Hannah Ongman contributed 3 scores, and Michelle Mayer
chipped in with 2 goals and 5 assists in the Vikings' win. Sophie Schloen
also made 14 saves in the win for H-F. The Warriors actually led
2-1 in the first quarter before the Vikings took control of the game later
in the period. LWW was led by Lauren Majewski (3 goals) and Becca Beeson
(7 saves).

The T-Bolts outscored the Spartans 5-2 in the final period to break a 6-6

Devin Green stopped 14 shots in the loss for the Spartans.

With the score tied at 3-3
entering the final period, Neuqua Valley put together a remarkable 6-0 run
to pull away from a stingy Metea Valley defense to earn a 9-3 victory on
Wednesday night. Megan Russell and Rachel Lehman each scored 3 goals to
lead NV to the win, while Meghan Gradle made 5 saves and totaled 4 steals
while allowing her lowest goal total for the season. Lizzie Hollopeter
scored 2 times and Mia Palladino added a goal in the loss for the
Mustangs.
