Thomas Fies recorded 6 goals and the trio of Cameron Vance-Colby, Lou
Helfand and Lucas Verelli each scored once as the Wildkits advanced to
the semifinals of the CSL Tournament after beating GBN 9-8. Joe Adelman
scored 4 goals and both Brendan Johnson and Jack Brownlee scored 2 times
in the loss for the Spartans.
Maine West 18 Deerfield 11
Brendan Atwood registered 11 goals and Sam Ure made 9 saves as the
Warriors beat Deerfield 18-11. Andrew Krivokapich and Richie Sevic each
added 2 goals while Anthony Alonzi, Adam Smolik-Valles and Kevin
Wendtland each scored once in the win.
Glenbrook South 11 Maine West 5
Brendan Chang and Richard Poma both scored 3 goals and Brian Johnson
blocked 11 shots as the Titans defeated Maine West 11-5.
Niles West 18 Maine South 5
AJ Durakovic, Mark Renko and Won Lee each scored 3 goals to lead the
Wolves past Maine South 18-5. Sean Gardiner recorded 3 goals in the loss
for the Hawks.
New Trier 12 Niles West 8
Henry Yavitt scored 3 goals and Danilo Scekic and Will Kohr both netted
2 goals as the Trevians pulled away from Niles West in the second half
to earn a 12-8 win. The teams were tied at 4-4 at the half before the
top-seeded Trevians secured the victory. Simon Villegas totaled 4 goals
and 3 assists in the loss for the Wolves.
Glenbrook South 14 Evanston 4
Peter Dales scored 6 goals, Richard Poma notched 3 scores and both
Brendan Chang and Tommy Hagerty put in 2 goals as the Titans beat
Evanston 14-4 to advance to the CSL title game. Brian Johnson stopped 10
shots as well for the victors. Thomas Fies recorded 3 goals in the loss
for the Wildkits.

Charlie Ryan, Danilo Scekic, Henry Yavitt and Sam Yavitt each scored 2
goals to lead the Trevians past GBS 12-3 in the CSL Tournament title
game.
