Tournament Preview
Lyons plays host to the West Suburban Conference tournament to wrap
up the regular season for all six members; the tentative schedule sees
Morton take on York in the first quarterfinal with the winner to
face the hosts, while the winner of the Hinsdale Central-Hinsdale South contest
meets Oak Park in the second semifinal. The championship game takes place
in the early afternoon in LaGrange.

scored 2 times in York's 14-11 win over Morton.

Lyons 11 York 6
The Lions advanced to the WSC Tournament finals with an 11-6 victory over
York. Jess Kellerstrass and Jess Sacksteder each scored 2 goals and both
Kirsten Rasnic and Lauren Tamm tallied one score in the loss for the
Dukes.
Oak Park 8 Hinsdale Central 3
Katie Appell scored 4 goals and drew 5 ejections while Jordin Hale and Zoe
Erickson combined to save 12 shots in Oak Park's 8-3 win over Hinsdale
Central.
Lyons 9 Oak Park 7 (1st place)
Blair Hopwood totaled 5 scores and Tegan Moore made 10 saves as the Lions' successfully defended their West Suburban Conference title by
beating Oak Park 9-7. Anna Vogel and Katie Appell each scored 3 times and Jordin Hale blocked 11 shots in the loss for the Huskies.
