Conant Closes Season With Tournament Win
Conant capped off a 27-3 season by winning the Vernon Hills Tournament on Saturday; the Cougars beat the hosts and McHenry in the preliminary round before knocking off Libertyville 12-3 in the title game. Lincoln-Way East topped McHenry in the third-place game and Latin defeated Vernon Hills to finish in fifth place.
