Brian Cavanaugh put in 6 scores to lead Lockport to a 23-14 win over LWC.
Sandburg 10 Homewood-Flossmoor 4
Erik Niemeier recorded 4 goals
and Anthony Bonnar scored 3 times as Sandburg clinched the SWSC Blue title
with a 10-4 win over H-F on Wednesday. Tony Rogina stopped 15 shots,
allowed only one first half goal, and made a key penalty shot save in the
second half to help the Eagles earn the victory. Shay Banton scored 3
goals and Jacob Bodnar made 14 saves in the loss for the Vikings.
CPS Tournament
Lane 13 Juarez 12
Ricardo Quezada scored 5 goals
and Eryk Puczek and Matt Gullickson each scored 3 times as Lane earned a
13-12 upset win over Juarez in the opening round of the CPS Tournament.
Steven Rummelhoff also made 15 saves in the win for the Indians.
GIRLS
Andrew 8 Lincoln-Way West 4
Leah McCarthy totaled 3 goals
and 4 assists to help lift Andrew past LWW 8-4. Abigail Wrobel added 2
scores and Jordan Bartolini stopped 8 shots in the win for the T-Bolts.
Lauren Majewski led the Warriors with 2 goals and Becca Beeson made 9
saves in the losing effort.

Neuqua Valley 10
Emma Martinus recorded 6 goals
to help Bremen outlast Neuqua Valley 11-10 on Wednesday. Lauren Stryzek
added 2 scores in the win for the Red Jaguars.
Homewood-Flossmoor 8 Sandburg 4
Michelle Mayer scored 4 times
and Hannah Ongman added 2 scores as H-F wrapped up the SWSC Blue title
with an 8-4 victory over Sandburg. The Vikings jumped out to a 5-0
halftime advantage and withstood a second half charge by the Eagles to
earn the win. Rebecca Mathews and Tess Adamonis each scored one time and
Sophie Schloen made 7 saves in H-F's win. Jamie Pappanastos and Tara
Capouch each recorded 2 goals and Korey Flynn made 10 saves in the loss
for Sandburg.
Lincoln-Way Central 9 Lockport 6
Danijela Jackovich recorded 6
goals and Ashley Knight chipped in with 2 scores to help lead LWC to a 9-6
win over Lockport. Ashley Holtrop scored 3 times and Megan Cavanaugh added
2 scores in the loss for the Porters.

both scored 4 goals as Metea Valley downed R-B 12-6 on Wednesday night.

lead New Trier to a 12-9 win over Naperville North. Audrey Chien tallied 6
scores in the loss for the Huskies.

and both Alison Coogan and Jessie Conti added 2 goals to give Oak Park a
13-4 win over Morton. Zoe Erickson stopped 15 shots in the Huskies'
victory.

Battaglia both tallied 2 scores as St Viator defeated Vernon Hills 7-5 in
nonconference play. Dana Andrea and Ellie Silver led the Cougars with 2
scores apiece in the loss.

Cheyenne Montijo and Erin McCook both scored 2 times, and Lisa Michalowski
