TOURNAMENT RECAP
Preview
The Patriots host a crucial late-season tournament that often serves as a
preview of the state tournament. This year is no exception, as seven of the top
ten teams will play in Lincolnshire, including #2 Fenwick, #3 Loyola, the
fifth-ranked hosts, #6 Oak Park, #7 Naperville Central, #8 Lyons, and #10
Palatine. #15 New Trier and #28 Brother Rice are also in the mix. The defending
state champions (Fenwick) will be looking to reclaim the title after losing to
LT 9-5 last season in the virtual title game, while the rest of the stacked
field will be looking to showcase their abilities as the season has entered the
homestretch.
