Hersey 12 St Rita 11

Jack Carroll scored 4 goals and Connor Reynolds netted 3 goals as the Huskies earned a 12-11 comeback win over St Rita on Saturday morning. John Hall also scored 2 times in the win. Chuck Henrichs scored 4 goals, Eric Johnson added 3 goals, and Dan Slizais tallied 2 scores in the loss for the Mustangs.

STC North 11 Whitney Young 2

John Pretet and Nick Traxler each scored 3 times and Collin Bawolek blocked 8 shots to help the hosts get past the Dolphins 11-2. Chris Stanek added 2 goals and both Ross Davis and Tim Steele scored once for the North Stars. Juan Reyes and Tony Romo each scored once in the loss for Young.

St Rita 20 Vernon Hills 13

Dan Slizais poured in 6 goals and Chuck Henrichs netted 5 scores as St Rita defeated Vernon Hills 20-13. Eric Johnson added 3 scores while Dan Carone, Kevin Cronin, and Matt Lopez each tallied 2 scores. Nikita Mikhaylov led the Cougars with 3 goals and the trio of Kim Richard, Saad Maki, and Sean Pinter all scored 2 times in the losing effort.

Hersey 16 Vernon Hills 12

Jack Carroll netted 5 goals and both Connor Reynolds and Michael Buffa scored 3 times in Hersey's 16-12 victory over Vernon Hills. George Vladimirov also scored 2 goals in the win. Kim Richard scored 3 goals and Conrad Kocoj, Nikita Mikhaylov, and Patrick Pranica each tallied 2 scores for the Cougars.

St Rita 14 Whitney Young 11

Chuck Henrichs poured in 8 goals and both Eric Johnson and Matt Lopez scored 3 times to lead St Rita to a 14-11 victory over Whitney Young. Duncan McDonald netted 5 goals and Juan Reyes scored 2 goals in the loss for the Dolphins. Hector Mendez also added 2 goals for Young.

STC North 7 Hersey 6

Ross Davis scored the game-tying goal late in the fourth quarter and then nailed the game-winner with under one minute remaining as STC North defeated Hersey 7-6. Davis also made a steal in the waning seconds to seal the win. John Pretet scored 3 goals and drew 7 ejections, Davis totaled 2 goals, and both Chris Stanek and Nick Traxler scored once for the North Stars. Collin Bawolek also made 10 saves in the win. Connor Reynolds and Jack Carroll both recorded 3 goals in the narrow loss for the Huskies.

Vernon Hills 11 Whitney Young 10

Patrick Pranica recorded 3 goals and John Manning, Nikita Mikhaylov, and Yuriy Stepanov each tallied 2 scores in the Cougars' 11-10 win over Whitney Young. Hector Mendez scored 5 goals and both Duncan McDonald and Juan Reyes scored 2 times in the loss for the Dolphins.
