Conant hosts a nine-team, eighteen-game event with an eccentric mix of
teams that start play on Friday and continue throughout the day on
Saturday. The Cougars are joined by BG, Lane, Libertyville, LWN, Maine
West, Niles West, Neuqua and Northside for the festivities.

Saturday's Game Recaps
Neuqua Valley 7 Lincoln-Way North 4
Simon Shatinsky totaled 4 goals, Joey Dalesandro added 2 scores, and
Austin Mollway made 8 saves as the Wildcats beat LWN 7-4. Shatinsky and
Dalesandro both made 4 steals and Carter Edwards scored one goal in the
win.
Maine West 10 Lane 9
The Warriors scored twice in the last two minutes to stun Lane 10-9 on
Saturday. Mark Gullickson scored 5 goals and Max Boettcher tallied 3
scores in the loss. Israel Valle also scored one goal for the Indians.
Neuqua Valley 16 Northside 5
Joey Dalesandro scored 5 goals, Simon Shatinsky netted 4 goals, and
Brett Whaley scored 3 times as the Wildcats defeated Northside 16-5 to
advance to the first-place bracket of the Conant Tournament. Austin
Mollway blocked 12 shots in the winning effort.
Niles West 13 Buffalo Grove 3
Kyle Patt scored 4 goals and Steven Renko totaled 3 goals and 4 assists
to help the Wolves secure a 13-3 victory over BG. Matt Lefler made 10
saves and added 6 steals in the winning effort.
Lane 11 Northside 5
Roberto Millan-Ayala recorded 3 goals and Ben Martinez, Mark Gullickson,
and Max Boettcher each tallied 2 scores in Lane's 11-5 triumph over
Northside. Israel Valle and Peter Proctor both scored once in the win
for the Indians. Connor Gillespie netted 3 goals in the loss for the
Mustangs.
Neuqua Valley 11 Libertyville 6
Simon Shatinsky netted 4 goals and Ian Ivkovich put in 3 scores as
Neuqua Valley earned an 11-6 victory over Libertyville to setup a
Saturday night title game with Conant. Lucas Becker added 2 goals,
Brandon Gorski and Troy Salafatinos each scored once, Joey Dalesandro
totaled 7 steals and 4 assists, and Austin Mollway blocked 6 shots in
the win.
Neuqua Valley 12 Conant 11
Simon Shatinsky scored 4 goals, Joey Dalesandro tallied 3 scores, and
Austin Mollway made 12 saves as the Wildcats defeated Conant 12-11 in
the title game of the event. Lucas Becker added 2 goals and both Scott
DePuy and Troy Salafatinos netted one score in the Neuqua win.
