GAME PREVIEWS (Friday, May 2)

FEATURED EVENT

STEVENSON TOURNAMENT

The Patriots host a crucial late-season tournament that often serves as a preview of the state tournament. This year is no exception, as seven of the top ten teams will play in Lincolnshire, including #2 Fenwick, #3 Loyola, the fifth-ranked hosts, #6 Oak Park, #7 Naperville Central, #8 Lyons, and #10 Palatine. #15 New Trier and #28 Brother Rice are also in the mix. The defending state champions (Fenwick) will be looking to reclaim the title after losing to LT 9-5 last season in the virtual title game, while the rest of the stacked field will be looking to showcase their abilities as the season has entered the homestretch.

KEEP AN EYE ON

CONANT TOURNAMENT

Conant hosts a nine-team, eighteen-game event with an eccentric mix of teams that start play on Friday and continue throughout the day on Saturday. The Cougars are joined by BG, Lane, Libertyville, LWN, Maine West, Niles West, Neuqua and Northside for the festivities.
