Wheeling's Perfect Weekend Leads To Lane Tournament Title
Leah Malsom scored 13 goals to lead the Wildcats to wins over Lane, Latin,
and New Trier as Wheeling grabbed the Lane Tournament title on Saturday
afternoon. Malsom scored 3 times in the title game, as the Wildcats held
off the hosts 5-3 to emerge with the event's championship. See below for

Leah Malsom recorded 6 goals and
Haydee Tomayo added 2 scores in the Wildcats' 10-2 victory over New
Trier.
Oak Park 7 Prospect 5
Elizabeth Williams scored 4
goals and Katie Appell netted 2 goals in OPRF's 7-5 win over
Prospect.
Wheeling 10 Latin 3
Heather Murphy and Leah Malsom
both tallied 4 scores in Wheeling's 10-3 triumph over Latin.

Katie Appell registered 4 scores
and Elizabeth Williams notched 3 scores as the Huskies topped Latin
9-8 in the third-place game at the Lane Tournament. Zoe Erickson
made 9 saves in the victory and totaled 28 saves throughout the
tournament.

Leah Malsom scored 3 times and
both Kat Dobrowski and Shannon Richards netted one goal apiece as
Wheeling beat Lane 5-3 in the title game of the Indians' tournament.
