Conant Shuts Down Neuqua To Win Own
Tournament
Conant bounced back from a loss to Libertyville to beat Neuqua Valley 11-3
to claim the title at their own event on Saturday afternoon. All three
teams finished with 3-1 records, but the emphatic victory in the final
game of the weekend helped the Cougars win the tournament based on a
tiebreaker. The Wildcats (of Libertyville) ended up in second place, while
Neuqua dropped to third place after giving up the most goals in the final

LATIN TOURNAMENT
Romans Fight To Win Own Tournament
Latin emerged with a 3-0 record from their own tournament on Saturday,
beating Curie, McHenry, and STC North en route to a virtual trophy. The
Condors finished in second place after finishing the day with a 2-1
record. McHenry posted a 1-2 mark after finishing with a 1-2 record. STC
North ended the day in fourth place with an 0-3 mark. Click the logo below

STEVENSON TOURNAMENT
Lyons Stuns Fenwick To Win
Stevenson Tournament
Peter Dore scored the game-winning goal in the final seconds of regulation as
Lyons beat Fenwick 6-5 to end the Friars 82-game winning streak. The Lions also
beat Brother Rice in the championship round to finish the weekend with a 4-0
record. Fenwick bounced back to beat the Crusaders 16-9 in the last game of the
weekend.
The hosts claimed fourth place, as they earned a one-goal win over New Trier and
edged OPRF 10-7. The Trevians won the fifth place game over the Huskies 16-7.
Naperville Central beat both Mundelein and Palatine to win the seventh-place
group, while the Pirates got their lone win of the weekend by beating the

DEER PARK TOURNAMENT
Nowlin, Kauffman Ensure Winning Performance For Scouts At Deer Park
Emily Nowlin totaled 14 goals to bring her career total over 400 as Lake
Forest beat both Deer Park and Maine South on Saturday morning. The Scouts
topped the hosts 14-8 in the day's second game, then got past Maine South
12-7. Norie Kauffman also scored 5 times in the two-game set for Lake
Forest. The Hawks won the tournament-opener over the hosts as well.
INDEPENDENT TOURNAMENT
R-B Emerges As Independent Tournament Champions
Riverside-Brookfield beat Richards 10-8 in overtime to claim the
Independent Tournament title; R-B also beat Argo and Maria in comfortable
fashion as Ally Shumowski and Emma Veon each scored 5 times and goalie
Caitlin Parisi totaled 32 saves and 17 steals throughout the tournament.
ROCKFORD TOURNAMENT
Rockford Holds Off Fenwick To Win Own Tournament
The defending state champions of Illinois traveled to Michigan over the
weekend looking to take out the top teams in Michigan in a nine-team
tournament. The Friars beat both East Kentwood and Jenison in the
preliminary round, then fended off #2 Okemos 6-3 in the first of two
championship round games. In the title game, #1 Rockford held off the
Friars 9-8 to win the event. The Friars head home with a 3-1 record and a
second-place finish.
HINSDALE CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
Lincoln-Way North Claims Another Title
Cheyenne DeGraff and Jenna Tasic combined to score 17 goals and Kelly
Pender blocked 31 shots as the Phoenix went 3-0 to win the Hinsdale
Central Tournament on Saturday afternoon. LWN beat Naperville North and
STC East in the preliminary round and edged STC north 7-6 in the event's

LANE TOURNAMENT
Wheeling's Perfect Weekend Leads To Lane Tournament Title
Leah Malsom scored 13 goals to lead the Wildcats to wins over Lane, Latin,
and New Trier as Wheeling grabbed the Lane Tournament title on Saturday
afternoon. Malsom scored 3 times in the title game, as the Wildcats held
