MATCH OF THE DAY
Lockport 10 Homewood-Flossmoor 8
Jake Speechley and Jake Elias scored 3 goals and both Dan Oldendorf and
Shane McDevitt scored 2 times as Lockport outscored H-F 3-0 in the fourth
quarter to earn a 10-8 victory. Oldendorf tied the game early in the last
period before Elias notched the eventual game-winner midway through the
fourth quarter. John Goetz totaled 9 saves and 4 steals in
the Porters' win. Kevin Kuchta registered 3 scores, Edgar Wright tallied 2
goals, and Jakobi McClellan stopped 16 shots in the loss for the Vikings.
OTHER KEY GAMES
Bradley 11 Andrew 7
The Boilers grabbed a firm hold on second place in the SWSC Red division
by beating Andrew 11-7. Eric Tamulonis, Andrew Wojdyla, and Nick Brancato
scored 2 goals apiece in the loss for the T-Bolts.
Lincoln-Way North 8 Stagg 7
Curtis Thrun recorded 7 goals and AJ Burt notched one score as the Phoenix
edged Stagg 8-7.
Metea Valley 10 Schaumburg 7
David Roake tallied 3 scores and the trio of Alex Gidlow, Alex Vass, and
Steven Baro each netted 2 goals as Metea Valley defeated Schaumburg 10-7.
LJ Peterson and Marty Faleni each scored 2 times in the loss for the
Saxons.
STC North 14 Barrington 1
John Pretet poured in 5 goals and Kyle Gannon netted 3 scores as the North
Stars beat Barrington 14-1. Collin Bawolek blocked 10 shots and both
Justin Simmonds and Nick Traxler scored 2 times in the STC North win.

Jessica Fox recorded 5 goals and teamed up with Leslie Calabrese to draw 9
ejections as the Redhawks beat Fremd 12-2. Kristina Altuve and Michelle Spaits each scored 2 times in the winning
effort. Mandy Borre and Samantha Barry each tallied one goal in the loss for
Fremd.

Fenwick 16 Mundelein 8
Cara Borkovec and Colleen Barron both registered 3 goals and Alexa Ovalle,
Erin McDonald, and Catie Wallace each scored 2 times in Fenwick's 16-8
triumph over Mundelein. Allison Boothe put in 3 scores and both Courtney
Perreault and Karrie Kozokar notched 2 scores in the loss for the Mustangs.

Barrington 17 STC East 5
Kelly Meckert totaled 4 goals and Sam Gavars added 3 scores in
Barrington's 17-5 win over STC East.
Bradley 5 Andrew 4
Drew L'Ecuyer scored the game-winning goal late in the fourth quarter to
help Bradley edge Andrew 5-4 on Thursday. L'Ecuyer, who scored 3 goals,
drew a foul outside nine meters and quickly fired home the winner with
2:32 left in regulation. Celine Dalde and Rachel Thorson each chipped in
with one goal and Amber Forbes made 15 saves in the Boilers' victory.
Lockport 7 Homewood-Flossmoor 4
Christine Bafia and Kathleen Reaney each scored 3 times and Christine
Unger blocked 8 shots to help the Porters fend off the Vikings 7-4. Maddy
Morris recorded 3 goals and Anna Shirer made 12 saves in the losing
effort.
Maine East 11 Elk Grove 5
Maria Protic scored 4 goals and Sarah Pham added 3 goals to lead the Blue
Demons past the Grenadiers 11-5 in a nonconference game on Thursday. Alexa
Zajac scored 4 times in the losing effort for Elk Grove.
Metea Valley 10 Schaumburg 4
The Mustangs earned their sixth win of the season by beating Schaumburg
10-4 on Thursday. In the loss, Britney Vasquez scored 2 goals and Jessica
Sumsky blocked 15 shots and added a goal for the Saxons.
Neuqua Valley 11 Conant 10
Abbie Teeling and Lauren Backe each scored 3 goals and Kaitlyn Gorski and
Morgan Miller both scored 2 goals as Neuqua Valley held off Conant 11-10
in a nonconference contest. Carmen Rosas led the Cougars with 5 goals,
Angie Skittone put in 3 scores, and Maddy Demaret blocked 13 shots in the
loss for Conant.
Sandburg 11 Lincoln-Way East 7
Maggie Foley recorded 6 goals and Jane Zieba blocked 13 shots to help lift
the Eagles past LWE 11-7 on Thursday. Brittany Kamper, Cara Hays, Kaitlyn
Randich, Lauren Olson, and Sarah Dolitsky each added one goal in the win.
Stephanie Bitz totaled 2 scores in the loss for the Griffins.
York 5 Hersey 1
Carly Redmond scored 3 goals and both Grace Achepohl and Jess Kellerstrass
scored once as the Dukes outscored the Huskies 5-0 in the second half to
earn a 5-1 victory on Thursday night.
