GAME PREVIEWS (Friday, April 24)

BROTHER RICE TOURNAMENT
The annual Brother Tournament is always a highly competitive event; this year should be no exception as Curie, DLS, Hinsdale Central, Latin, Lockport, St Rita and St Patrick join the hosts for a sixteen-game event that follows a championship format. The Porters will be looking to defend their title, as they edged Sandburg by a goal to win last year's event.

GLENBROOK SOUTH TOURNAMENT
The GBS Tournament is a nine-team, eighteen-game event that gets underway on Friday. Naperville North will look to defend their title against the hosts, Evanston, Hersey, Lake Forest, Libertyville, New Trier, Palatine, and Prospect in an event that should feature several close contests based on last year's results. The Huskies beat GBS and Hersey in the first-place bracket last season to win the event.

NAPERVILLE CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
The Redhawks' four team event begins on Friday night, alternating between Varsity and JV-level contests. The hosts are joined by Evanston, Jenison, and Sandburg for two Varsity games on Friday and four more beginning on Saturday morning.

STEVENSON TOURNAMENT
The battle between Illinois and Michigan gets underway on Friday as the hosts, Fenwick, Mother McAuley and Mundelein square off with EGR, Okemos, Rockford and Skyline. Expectations are high for the home-state teams, as Illinois squads have not lost to a Michigan team yet this season.
