Glenbrook South 12 Hersey 1
Richard Poma scored 4 goals, Brendan Chang and Peter Dales both scored 2
times and Brian Johnson made 6 saves and allowed one score as the Titans
opened their own tournament with a 12-1 win over Hersey on Friday.
New Trier 13 Prospect 3
Sam Yavitt totaled 4 goals to help lift the Trevians over Prospect 13-3.
Isaac Ginnodo scored 2 times in the loss for the Knights.
Evanston 10 Lake Forest 8
Thomas Fies poured in 6 goals and Jacob Finn-Samuels scored 3 times as
the Wildkits held off Lake Forest 10-8 on Friday night. Lucas Verelli
also scored one time in the win. Jay Baker and Jack Ford both scored 2
goals in the loss for the Scouts.
Naperville North 19 Palatine 9
Jon Jon Pettinger registered 5 scores, Charlie Calvo scored 4 times and
the trio of Brian Lapham, Cole Jacobs and Reilly McDonnell each scored 3
goals in the Huskies 19-9 win over Palatine. Spencer Wallace also scored
once in the winning effort. Ivan Turkan scored 6 goals, Dylan White
netted 2 scores and Jake Conrad made 7 saves in the losing effort.
Campbell Boston and Marcus Carter-Buckman also scored one goal each for
the Pirates.
Glenbrook South 15 Lake Forest 6
Peter Dales scored 3 goals and Brian Johnson made 5 saves in the Titans'
15-6 win over Lake Forest. Tom Condon tallied 2 scores in the loss for
the Scouts.
New Trier 10 Naperville North 9
Will Kohr scored the game-winning goal at the buzzer to send New Trier
past Naperville North 10-9. Henry Yavitt scored 4 goals and Kohr added 2
scores in the win for the Trevians. Cole Jacobs and Matt Magee both
notched 3 scores and Brian Lapham, Reilly McDonnell and Spencer Wallace
each scored once in the loss for the Huskies.
OTHER KEY GAMES
Homewood-Flossmoor 10 Bradley 2
John Weeks and Travis Tanner each scored 4 goals and Luke Santefort
blocked 17 shots to help lead the Vikings past Bradley 10-2. Anthony
Anderson scored 2 goals and Jacob LaMore made 11 saves in the loss for
the Boilers.
Lincoln-Way East 15 Lincoln-Way North 14 (2 OT)
Collin O'Donnell connected on the game-winning goal in sudden-death
overtime as the Griffins stunned LWN 15-14 on Friday night. O'Donnell
scored 5 goals and Bryan McNitt tallied 4 scores in the win for LWE.
NAPERVILLE CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
Jenison 13 Sandburg 7
Abby O'Dwyer and Taylor Arnold each scored 4 times and both Haven Westra
and Rachel Byrnes put in 2 scores as Jenison defeated Sandburg 13-7.
Madison Stuursma and Tara Maher scored 3 goals apiece and Nicole Manuel
added one score in the loss.
Naperville Central 9 Evanston 4
Emily Westlove recorded 3 goals and Emily Rodgers, Jennifer Oliver and
Kaela Codo each scored 2 times in the Redhawks' 9-4 win over Evanston.
Codo and Alli Hansen combined to make 8 steals while goalie Faith
Vandercar stopped 7 shots in the victory. Becca Schumm registered 3
goals and Emma Stein scored once in the loss for the Wildkits.

Heidi Pallan recorded 4 goals, Andrea Potgieter and Isabella Rojas each
scored 2 times and Ellie Connors stopped 9 shots in the Fillies' 11-3

one score for the winners. Anna Gately, Dasha Yermol and Lauren Komrska
each scored once in the loss for the Bison.

Cassidy Degraff totaled 5 goals and 11 steals and Sarah Jackson recorded
3 goals and 5 steals as the Phoenix beat LWE 13-7 to remain atop the
SWSC Red division standings. Jess Larson scored 2 times and Julia Porco,
Paige Ruffner and Reis Parkinson all scored once in the win.
