Jeremy Stanton scored the
game-winning goal in the fourth quarter and Brad Ferris scored 5 goals as
the Pirates hung on to beat Schaumburg 11-10 to clinch the MSL West title.
After trailing 7-1, the Saxons put together a 8-2 run to tie the game at
9-9, but Stanton's goal was the difference-maker for Palatine. Brandon
Kase scored 4 goals and Brandon Luke added 3 scores in the loss for the
Saxons.

Shane Seuschek scored the
game-tying goal in the final minute to send the game to extra time, then
scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime period as St Charles
East beat St Viator 18-16. Seuschek totaled 10 goals and Shaun Seuschek
added 5 scores for the Saints in the victory. Eric Primdahl scored 6 times
and Gregg O'Connor added 5 scores in the loss for the Lions.
