past Brother Rice 9-7. Mitch Courtney also totaled 11 saves and 7 steals in the
victory. Kevin Mayer netted 3 goals, Dan Whalen added 2 scores,
and Dave Jackson and Matt Bachler both scored once in the loss for the
Crusaders.
Sandburg 15 St Patrick 3
Kevin Tunney scored 7 goals and Tomas Serrano, Paul Fitzpatrick, and Zach Roper
each netted 2 goals in the Eagles'
15-3 win over St Patrick. Connor O'Rourke scored 2 times and Joseph Gibson
tallied one score in the loss for the Shamrocks.

Condors' 12-8 victory over St Rita. Ivan Ariza also scored 2 times and Daniel

St Patrick 14 Latin 6 (7th place)
Connor O'Rourke and Joseph Gibson each registered 4 scores to lift the
Shamrocks past Latin 14-6 in the seventh-place game on Saturday afternoon.

Sandburg's 12-3 triumph over St Rita. Eric Johnson was one of three
players to score once in the loss for the Mustangs.
Brother Rice 10 Curie 9 (3rd place)
Dan Whalen and Kevin Mayer both recorded 3 goals and Dan Birmingham
notched 2 scores as the hosts edged Curie 10-9 to claim third place at
their own event. Dave Jackson (who scored in all four games for the
Crusaders) and Luke Healy each tacked on one score in the win for Brother
Rice. Jeronimo Chavez scored 5 goals, Marcos Hernandez added 2 scores, and
both Daniel Pantoja and Ivan Ariza netted one goal for the Condors in the
losing effort.
Lockport 8 Hinsdale Central 7 (1st place)
The Porters edged Hinsdale Central for the second time this year, this
time by a narrow one-goal margin, winning the Brother Rice Tournament by
an 8-7 margin. Dan Oldendorf led the way for the victors, scoring 7
goals to add to his tournament-leading 22-goal total over the weekend.
John Goetz also led the Porters' defense in holding Central scoreless in
the final period, including a penalty shot block. In
the loss, Brogan O'Doherty registered 3 goals,
George Koulouris scored 2 times, and Mitch Courtney stopped 15 shots for the
Red Devils.
