MATCH OF THE DAY

Latin at Lyons
LT looks to follow up their weekend win over #3 Loyola with another big victory against #4 Latin (8-3-1). The Romans, meanwhile, will be looking to prove they are a legitimate contender for the state title against #2 Lyons (18-2) in Chicago on Tuesday night.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

St Ignatius at Northside
The Wolfpack (7-13) are out to prove they are back in form after a terrific weekend showing at the Lyons Tournament. The Mustangs (11-7), who are a strong contender for one of the top spots in the CPS, will be looking to add a high-quality win to their resume when they host the Catholic League squad.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Wheeling at Buffalo Grove
The battle for the MSL East divisional crown comes down to this contest between Wheeling (7-0, 17-6) and Buffalo Grove (6-1, 12-5). A win for the Wildcats clinches the title, while the Bison can even things up at the top of the standings with a home win.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Evanston at New Trier
The Trevians (5-0, 13-5) can solidify their lead at the top of the Central Suburban League with a win over their rivals, while the Wildkits (3-1, 5-14) hope an upset win here would give them some much-needed momentum heading into the final stretch of the 2012 season.
