The Wildcats earned their second-straight one goal victory over the
Huskies this season as they beat Naperville North 15-14 on Tuesday.
Simon Shatinsky tallied 5 goals, Scott Depuy scored 5 times and
earned 5 steals and Austin Mollway stopped 14 shots the win. Joey
Dalesandro also scored 3 goals and Lucas Becker put in 2 scores for
the Wildcats.
OTHER KEY GAMES
Fremd 17 Hoffman 3
Conrad Wojda and Dylan Assmann each recorded 3 goals and Zak Keper
made 10 saves to help Fremd beat Hoffman 17-3. Alex Nicholas and
Austin Yurasek each added 2 goals for the Vikings while Bobby
Christoplopoulus, Ben Rutkowski, Dan Anderson, Jason Park, Matt
Jordan, Mike Kochanski and Won Suk Choi all scored once in the
winning effort.
Glenbrook South 13 Glenbrook North 6
Richard Poma poured in 6 goals and Davis Hianik blocked 10 shots in
the Titans' 13-6 victory over GBN. Peter Dales also notched 2 scores
in the win. John Roberts recorded 2 goals in the loss for the
Spartans.
Lane 16 Taft 7
Mark Gullickson recorded 7 goals to lead the Indians to a 16-7 win
over Taft.
Lincoln-Way East 11 Lincoln-Way North 8
Mike Walsh tallied 4 scores and Bryan McNitt scored 3 times in the
Griffins' 11-8 win over LWN.
Lockport 11 Andrew 9
Eric Johnson scored 4 goals and drew a key ejection that led to Zach
Elias' game-winning goal late in the fourth quarter as the Porters
outlasted Andrew 11-9. Johnson also added an insurance goal in the
closing stages of the contest to secure the win. Elias scored 3
times, Ian Greenway netted 2 goals and both Eric Krawczyk and Joey
Tomczuk scored once in the victory. Pat Melaniphy also made 13 saves
in the win.
Homewood-Flossmoor 19 Bradley 4
Haden Santefort registered 9 goals, Luke Santefort blocked 19 shots
and eight different Vikings lit up the scoreboard in a 19-4 victory
over Bradley. Carlos Leal scored 2 times and Jacob LaMore stopped 7
shots in the loss for the Boilers.
New Trier 16 Evanston 11
Michael Krueger scored 5 goals and Alex Grant totaled 4 scores in
the Trevians' 16-11 win over Evanston. Patrick Drake and Will Kohr
also scored 2 times in the win.
Niles West 13 Maine South 7
Max Yusim tallied 5 goals, Lucas Brace scored 3 times and Kohler
Mohr put in 2 scores to help the Wolves get past Maine South 13-7.
Phil Wachowski registered 4 scores and Dominic Pilolla scored 2
times in the loss for the Hawks.
St Rita 13 Brother Rice 12
Eric Johnson netted 5 goals and Matt Lopez notched 3 scores as the
Mustangs upended the Crusaders by a 13-12 scoreline on Tuesday in a
Catholic League contest. Dan Sliazas, Lorenzo Henrichs and Kevin
Cronin rounded out the scoring for St Rita.
Sandburg 11 Lincoln-Way Central 4
Mitch Zieler scored 5 times and Mike Hinde notched 3 scores as the
Eagles defeated LWC 11-4. Cobie Fritsch, Majd Ibrahim and Alex
Serrano each added one score in the Sandburg win.
Stevenson 17 Libertyville 4
Alex Kapecki recorded 4 goals and Kurt Holzer put in 3 scores in the
Patriots 17-4 win over Libertyville. Collin Kapecki, Cris Tomasetti
and Liam Holzer each added 2 goals in for the victors.
Waubonsie Valley 10 York 8
Cameron Steele recorded 7 goals and Cedrick Chan stopped 16 shots as
the Warriors beat York 10-8 on Tuesday. Kay Andressen added 2 goals
while Jon McWhirter scored once in the win. Andressen and Steele
combined to make 8 steals while Ian Reyes dished out 3 assists for
the winners.

Jilly Cronin registered 5 goals and Jordin Hale saved 14 shots as
the Huskies earned a 7-5 road victory over Lyons on Tuesday in a key
West Suburban Conference battle. Genevieve Curry and Mia Andreoli
each added one score in the win for OPRF. Caroline Walsh scored 3
times, Erin Yang scored once and totaled 6 steals, Emma Hirt scored
once and Maddie Janik made 13 saves in the losing effort.

Aoife Burke netted 4 goals and both Beth Koson and Katie Kalvelage
scored 2 times as the T-Bolts topped Lockport 11-6. Cailey Pietrzyk,
Deanna Koeckritz and Lauren Herald each added one score and
Catherine Stouffer made 11 saves in the win. Kim Firganek scored 2
times to lead the Porters' offense while Arlene Coleman, Megan Hoak,
Sharlene Solis and Teresa Morales each put in one goal in the losing

Lindsay Fraser poured in 7 goals and Patricia Doolan scored 4 times
to help lead the Spartans past GBS 16-6. Colleen Doolan added 3
goals and Patti Grod netted 2 goals for the winners. Anna Hofmockel
led the Titans with 2 goals in the loss.

Amber Barney tallied 3 scores, Kelly Morrissey put in one score and
Rebecca Tanner blocked 9 shots as the Vikings earned a hard-fought
4-2 victory over Bradley.

Abby Warren totaled 7 goals and Jesse Bernhart made 13 saves to help
the Scouts edge Loyola 9-8.

Brianna Breason totaled 6 goals for the Indians as they blanked Taft
13-0 in Chicago on Tuesday.
Lincoln-Way North 12 Lincoln-Way East 9
Cassidy Degraff scored 5 goals, Julia Porco scored 4 times and Sarah
Jackson netted 2 goals to help the Phoenix beat LWE 12-9 on Tuesday.
Ellie Brtis also scored once while Degraff and Porco combined for 6
steals on the defensive end.
Maine South 7 Niles West 4
Keanan Bender scored 3 goals and Kalin Bender made 10 saves as the
Hawks downed Niles West 7-4. Lily Ellyin added 2 goals and Kamila
Orzech scored once for the victors.
Meadows 10 Elk Grove 4
Sara Luedloff registered 4 goals, Erin Pletch scored 3 times and
Betsy Zanocco made 11 saves to help lift the Mustangs over Elk Grove
10-4. Anna Frantom, Emily Walters, and Lizzie Hardt each added one
goal in the winning effort. Lilly Lawrin totaled 3 goals in the loss
for the Grenadiers.
Metea Valley 13 Hoffman 1
Leah Hummel tallied 3 goals while Abby Smedley and Alex Cerra netted
2 scores apiece for the Mustangs in their 13-1 victory over Hoffman.
Naperville North 5 Neuqua Valley 2
Caitlin Holzer scored 2 goals while Hannah Wessel, Olivia Eiken and
Taylor Stoner each scored once as the Huskies knocked off Neuqua
Valley 5-2.
New Trier 7 Evanston 6 (4 OT)
The Trevians outlasted Evanston 7-6 in four overtimes after a
back-and-forth contest during regulation. Millie Rosen gave the
Wildkits a 3-2 lead at halftime with a last-second goal, but New
Trier bounced back with a 2-0 run in the third period to grab a 4-3
advantage. The Trevians held the lead until the final two minutes of
the fourth quarter, as Edie Block scored two consecutive goals in
less than thirty seconds to put the hosts ahead 5-4. After the teams
traded possessions, New Trier tied the game with :37 remaining to
send the proceedings to overtime. Both teams scored once in the
first extra period, then neither team could score again until the
Trevians scored in the fourth overtime period to claim a 7-6
victory.
Northside 20 Latin 12
Marti Hale recorded 6 goals and the trio of Ana Lee Pokrzywa, Beth
Zelenka and Rebekah Kissel each put in 3 goals in the Mustangs'
20-12 win over Latin. Heather Walker also scored 2 times in the win.
Charlotte Rosenberg scored 6 goals in the loss for the Romans.
Sandburg 14 Lincoln-Way Central 7
Sarah Dolitsky totaled 4 goals and 6 steals and Clare Lawlor tallied
4 scores in the Eagles' 14-7 victory over LWC. Caitlyn Olson led the
defense with 9 steals while Morgan Bartelment made 6 saves in the
win.
Stevenson 12 Libertyville 1
Allison Travetto recorded 3 goals, Annika Hotchkiss netted 2 scores
and Lauren Burns made 17 saves in the Patriots' 12-1 victory over
Libertyville. Seven other players (Alex Adams, Autumn Hoang, Claire
Haas, Eileen Hoang, Holly Wegener, Joanie Newland, Melissa
Gartenberg) also scored once in the win for the victors. Julia
Fletcher scored once and Maddie Bollinger made 11 saves in the loss
for the Wildcats.
Wheeling 16 Jones-Payton 2
Theresa Godlewski registered 9 goals to lead the Wildcats to a 16-2
nonconference victory over Jones-Payton. Jenna Pink scored 3 times
and Argelia Diaz netted 2 goals in the win for the visitors. Juliana
Isayeva and Paulina Stolarska each added one score as well for
Wheeling.
