Conant Impressive In Winning Vernon Hills Tournament

The combined efforts of Andie Cobb and Kristi Burke on the offensive end helped Conant earn wins over the hosts, Hoffman, and Maine West en route to the Vernon Hills title on Saturday. The Cougars' duo totaled 21 goals and, combined with Jessica Davis' 25 saves and a solid team defense, helped the MSL West squad walk away with a perfect 3-0 day. The hosts sealed a second place finish with wins over Hoffman and Maine West, while the Warriors beat the Hawks in the virtual third-place game.
