LATIN TOURNAMENT

Indians Chop Their Way To Latin Tournament Win
Lane defeated Hinsdale Central, Hinsdale South, and Latin to finish with a perfect record at Latin's event on Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils beat Northside to finish 3-1, NSP ended the day with a 2-1 mark, while Hinsdale South ended the day with one win and the hosts went winless on Saturday.

Northside 11 Hinsdale South 4

Meghan Quigley recorded 5 goals and Jane Patzke added 3 scores as the Mustangs beat Hinsdale South 11-4. Alejandra Fuentes, Diana Roback, and Tammy Saowapak each scored once and Marti Hale totaled 9 saves and 6 steals in the the victory.

Hinsdale Central 9 Northside 4

The Red Devils handed Northside their only loss of the tournament, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter and then holding off NSP the rest of the way. Sarah Pircon recorded 4 goals in the winning effort for Central. Diana Roback, Jane Patzke, Meghan Quigley, and Tammy Saowapak each scored once and Marti Hale made 7 saves in the loss for the Mustangs.

Northside 10 Latin 4

Jane Patzke and Meghan Quigley both recorded 4 goals to lead Northside to a 10-4 win over Latin. Tammy Saowapak and Rebekah Kissel both scored one time in the Mustangs' victory.
