ELK GROVE TOURNAMENT
Libertyville Eludes
Maine East To Claim Elk Grove Title
Devika Joshi scored 12 goals as Libertyville went 4-0 on Saturday at
the Elk Grove Tournament, including a 7-3 win over Maine East to win the
title. Maria Protic scored 12 goals for the Blue Demons in a second-place
performance, while Sandra Kietlinska added 6 scores as Maine East finished
3-1 on Saturday. The shorthanded hosts finished in third with a 2-2 mark,
as Christine Juhas totaled 10 goals for the event's third-place finishers.
Jessica Dykstra scored 7 times to help Meadows grab a win over Deerfield
and end the day in fourth place, while Katherine Rogers scored 12 goals to
no avail as the Warriors failed to gain a victory on Saturday.

Dominika Struk put in 5 goals and Alexa Zajac, Angelica Ford, and
Megan Johnson each scored 3 times to help Elk Grove start their own
event with a 19-4 win over Deerfield. Jackie
Hirschauer also netted 2 goals in the
win for the Grenadiers. Katherine Rogers tallied 4 scores in the
loss for the Warriors.
Maine East 10 Meadows 2
Maria Protic scored 4 goals and Sandra Kietlinska notched 2 scores
to lead the Blue Demons grab a 10-2 victory over Meadows.
Libertyville 23 Deerfield 5
Fourteen different players recorded goals for the Wildcats in a 23-5
triumph over Deerfield.
Katherine Rogers registered 4 goals
in the losing effort.

lift the Blue Demons to a 6-2 victory over the hosts in the fourth
game of the Elk Grove Tournament. Alexa Zajac and Kathryn Noonan
each scored once in the loss.

Jessica Dykstra scored 2 goals and Natalie Delporte made 10 saves in
the loss for the Mustangs.

goals in the loss for the Warriors.

the Grenadiers' 11-1 victory over Meadows. Jessica Dykstra scored
the lone goal for the Mustangs in the losing effort.

Libertyville earned a 7-3 win over Maine East. Maria Protic
