Libertyville
Impresses At Barrington Quad
Jeremy Kucera scored 13 goals to help Libertyville elude the hosts
in the tournament opener and get past both McHenry and St Viator later in
the day to win the Barrington Tournament on Saturday. The hosts, led by
Chase Lesniak (9 goals), Sam Miseyka (7 goals), and Sean McCarthy (35
saves), placed second after quality wins over McHenry and St Viator.
Andrew Trocki's 5-goal performance helped McHenry surprise St Viator 8-6
for third place at the event.

Libertyville 9 Barrington 4
Adam King and Jeremy Kucera each scored 3 times and Andrew Fink made 9
saves in the Wildcats' 9-4 win over Barrington. Eric Boynton, Jason
Voelker, and Noah Marcus each tallied one score for the victors.
Chase Lesniak scored 2 goals and both Sam Miseyka and Sean McCarthy scored
once. McCarthy also totaled 8 blocks in goal for the Broncos.
McHenry 6 St Viator 4
Andrew Trocki totaled 5 goals, Becca Dabrowski added one score, and Wyatt
Schroeder made 15 saves in McHenry's 6-4 victory over St Viator on
Saturday morning. Keegan Finn recorded 3 goals, Charles Wood put in one
goal, and Alec Resendez and Frank Skorski combined to blocke 12 shots for
the Lions.
Libertyville 13 St Viator 3
Jeremy Kucera registered 5 goals and Adam King, Eric Boynton, and Jason
Voelker each tallied 2 scores as Libertyville downed St Viator 13-3.
Keegan Finn scored 2 goals, Frank Skorski totaled one goal and made 6
saves, and Alec Resendez stopped 7 shots in part-time goaltending duty.
Barrington 8 McHenry 6
Sam Miseyka recorded 4 goals and Chase Lesniak added 2 tallies in
Barrington's 8-6 win over McHenry. Sean McCarthy made 14 saves and both
Basil Staros and Evan O'Connor each scored once in the win for the hosts.
Andrew Trocki and Matt Peck each scored 3 times and Wyatt Schroeder saved
7 shots in the losing effort.
Libertyville 19 McHenry 4
Jeremy Kucera scored 6 goals, Bobby Snader and Eric Boynton each
registered 3 goals, and Adam King netted 2 scores in the Wildcats'
tournament-clinching 19-4 win over McHenry. Andrew Trocki, Matt Peck,
Becca Dabrowski, and Myles Lucas each notched one score in the loss for
the Warriors.
Barrington 12 St Viator 9
Chase Lesniak scored 5 goals and Nick Cogswell and Sam Miseyka each
tallied 2 scores in the Broncos' 12-9 win over St Viator. Sean McCarthy
also made 13 saves in the win for the second-place hosts. Rob Battin
scored 4 times, Charles Wood put in 3 goals, and Tommy Madras netted 2
goals in the loss for the Lions.
