Brett Hofer scored 5 goals, Eric Villasenor totaled 4 goals, Josh Stanek
and Matt Bobber tallied 2 scores apiece and the goaltending duo of Colin
Hovorka and Mike Brennan stopped 10 shots in the T-Bolts 17-5 win over
Maine East. Mateo Kozomara recorded 3 goals in
the loss for the Blue Demons.
Maine South 17 Hoffman 9
Phil Wachowski tallied 4 scores to lead the Hawks past Hoffman 17-9.
Andrew 17 Elk Grove 0
Broderick Garren scored 4 goals, Brett Hofer and Matt Bobber each netted
3 scores and both Dan Cavato and Ronnie Cope scored 2 times in Andrew's
17-0 win over Elk Grove. Colin Hovorka and Mike Brennan split time to
earn the shutout win while Cavato led the defensive effort with 7 steals
for Andrew.
Elk Grove 16 Hoffman 8
David Dragne netted 8 goals in the Grenadiers 16-8 win over Hoffman in
the event's third place game. Joey Smiley scored 3 times in the loss for
the Hawks.
Maine East 12 Hersey 8
Mateo Kozomara recorded 7 goals as the Blue
Demons upended Hersey 12-8 to claim third place at the event. Jake Hall
registered all 8 goals in the loss for the Huskies.
Andrew 14 Maine South 6
Brett Hofer totaled 5 goals and drew 5 ejections while Dan Cavato scored
4 times and made 9 steals as the T-Bolts beat Maine South 14-6 to win
the Elk Grove Tournament.
