Dan Striev scored 6 times, Glen
Bernard added 4 scores, and both Ian Rodriguez and Matt O'Rourke
tallied 3 scores in BG's 16-7 win over Hoffman Estates.
Glenbrook North 15
Deerfield/Highland Park 9
Tytus Kwiatkowski scored 10 goals to
lead the Spartans to their eighth-straight win, a 15-9 victory over Deer
Park on Thursday.
Hersey 11 Conant 9
Chris Workman recorded 5 goals to help
lift Hersey to an 11-9 victory over Conant. Ryan Chiero totaled 4 scores
in the loss for the Cougars.
Homewood-Flossmoor 20 Andrew 6
Russell Maanum totaled 7 goals and 9
steals and Shay Banton added 5 goals and 3 assists to lead H-F to a 20-6
win over Andrew. Alex Diorio and Caleb Peterson each scored 3 goals in the
win for the Vikings. Arya Mohaimani, Mike Wagonblott, and Tony Marino each
scored 2 times in the loss for the T-Bolts.
Loyola 14 Glenbrook South 10
Frank Toops recorded 5 goals, TJ
Considine added 3 scores, and Henry Hermes totaled 9 saves as Loyola beat
Glenbrook South 14-10. Zach Demertzis led the Titans with 4 goals, while
Mike Halfen and Peter Schneider both added 2 scores in the loss.
Morgan Park 21 Lindblom 6
Richard Leigh and Zachary
Wenner both tallied 6 scores to help Morgan Park knock off Lindblom 21-6.
Naperville North 14 Fremd

goals in the Huskies' 14-10 triumph over Fremd on Thursday. Phil Schroeder
and Zach Zambelli each had 3 scores in the losing cause for the Vikings.

Brad Ferris scored 9 goals
and Dylan Weissman totaled 3 goals and 7 steals to lead Palatine to a 15-8
win over Wheeling.
St Viator 17 Maine South 9
Eric Primdahl scored 8 goals, Gregg
O'Connell added 4 scores, and Justin Imhoff tallied 3 goals as St Viator
defeated Maine South 17-9 on Thursday night.
Schaumburg 11 Rolling Meadows
8
Brandon Kase scored 8 times and Randy Carr added 3 goals in Schaumburg's
11-8 victory over Rolling Meadows. Dan Briggs had 4 goals in the loss for
the Mustangs.
Stagg 10 Lincoln-Way East 6
Drew Stoffel and Zach Golob scored 4
goals apiece and Shane Krivanec made 16 saves in the Chargers' 10-6
victory over LWE.
Waubonsie Valley 19 STC North 4
Tyler Briesath scored 4 goals and Alec
McWhirter made 8 steals as the Warriors defeated STC North 19-4.
GIRLS
Fenwick Tournament
Loyola 9 Mother McAuley 7
Maeve O'Connor scored 6 goals and Ashley Letrich scored 2 times to lift
Loyola to a 9-7 victory over Mother McAuley in the first game of the
Fenwick Tournament on Thursday. Kristina Alexander recorded 7 saves and
blocked a penalty shot in the win for the Ramblers. Yuri Chavez scored 4
times and Katie Moran added 2 scores in the loss for the Macs.
Lyons 14 Neuqua Valley 0
Grace Trilla earned a shutout in goal for the Lions as they defeated
Neuqua Valley 14-0 on Thursday. On the offensive end, Kirby Kaptur totaled
5 goals, Katelyn Jacobs scored 3 times, and both Adriana Hoak and Allie
Grimes scored 2 goals in the win for LT.
Mother McAuley 8 Evanston 6
Vicky Arciniega and Yuri Chavez both scored 2 goals in the Macs' 8-6 win
over Evanston on Thursday night. Madeline Polinski and Rosy Capron each
scored 2 times in the loss for the Wildkits.
Loyola 14 Neuqua Valley 8
Maeve O'Connor tallied 8 goals, Ashley Letrich scored 3 times, and Rachel
Nieman added 2 scores as Loyola defeated Neuqua Valley 14-8. Kristina
Alexander made 10 saves in the win for the Ramblers. Danielle Cirrintano
and Jessica Zimmerman each tallied 2 scores in the loss for the Wildcats.
Lake County Tournament
Barrington 9 Highland Park 2
Yessica Buenrostro scored 6 times and Brooke Fanslow made 7 saves as the
Fillies' defeated Highland Park 9-2 on Thursday.
Mundelein 13 Lake Forest 6
Alexis Jones scored 5 goals and Jacqui Lodor added 3 scores as Mundelein
beat Lake Forest 13-6
in opening-round play in the Lake County Tournament. Emily Nowlin
scored 4 times in the loss for the Scouts.
Stevenson 16 Deerfield 3
Karen Lowry scored 5 times, Cheyenne Montijo added 4 scores, and Claire
Moschovas and Kim Nolte combined to made 13 saves in Stevenson's 16-3
victory over Deerfield.
Other Girls' Recaps
Buffalo Grove 15 Hoffman 9
Kathryn Emerson scored 6 goals and Angela Rodriguez , Nikki Delaney, and
Sara Fasching each totaled 3 scores in Buffalo Grove's 15-9 win over
Hoffman on Thursday. Rachel Gallo scored 5 times in the loss for the
Hawks.
Fremd 17 Naperville North 6
Erika Lauraitis totaled 10 goals to lead the Vikings past Naperville North
17-6. Samantha DelPrado added 2 scores and goalie Julie Conrath stopped 15
shots in the victory for Fremd. Lindsay Jansen led the Huskies with 3
scores in the loss.
Hersey 9 Conant 7
Christine Rovani recorded 6 goals to help lift the Huskies to a 9-7 win
over Conant on Thursday. Hannah Duke scored 5 times in the loss for the
Cougars.
Homewood-Flossmoor 9 Andrew 6
The Vikings put together a 6-1 run in the second half to come-from-behind
to beat Andrew 9-6 on Thursday night in a back-and-forth contest. Hannah
Ongman, who totaled 4 scores, put H-F ahead 6-5 in the closing seconds of
the third quarter to give them their first lead of the game, and the
Vikings finished things off with a 3-1 advantage in the final period.
Michelle Mayer also added 3 goals in the win for H-F. Amanda Kuchan and
Katie Fischer both scored 3 times in the loss for the T-Bolts.
Latin 6 Sandburg 5 (OT)
Brittany Wallace scored 5 times and Chloe Kaulus made 9 saves and blocked
a penalty shot as Latin beat Sandburg 6-5 in overtime on Thursday
evening. Tara Capouch scored 3 times in the loss for the Eagles.
Lindblom 17 Morgan Park 9
Ceera Patton scored 8 goals to lead Lindblom to a 17-9 win over Morgan
Park on Thursday evening. Jelena Bates tallied 5 scores in the loss for
Morgan Park.
Maine East 18 Payton 7
Natalia Bialecka registered 13 goals to lead Maine East to an 18-7 victory
over Payton.
Naperville Central 13 York 2
Abbey Kerth scored 4 times, Emily Sejna added 3 scores, and Tori Davis
scored 2 times in the Redhawks' 13-2 victory over York. Sam Virella and
Julia Campbell combined to save 9 shots for NC, while Claire Fleming
recorded 5 steals, 3 assists, and a goal in the victory. Katie Nelson and
Stephanie Ter Bush each tallied goals in the loss for the Dukes.
New Trier 16 Maine West 1
Hannah Oimoen recorded 4 goals and added 5 steals and both Claire Saleh
and Emily Blumenthal each registered 2 goals in the Trevians' 16-1 win
over Maine West.
Stagg 7 Riverside-Brookfield 2
Chrissy Dremonas and Rachel Foxx both scored 2 goals in the Chargers' 7-2
win over Riverside-Brookfield.
Waubonsie Valley 11 STC East 5
Ember McCoy scored 4 times and Nikki Mandl added 2 scores to help lift
Waubonsie Valley to an 11-5 victory over STC East. Cara Stack and Michelle
Moynihan also scored once in the win for the Warriors.
Wheeling 12 Palatine 0
Amy Wilson scored 4 times, Christa Khatcherian and Leah Malsom each scored
3 goals, and Kaitlyn Webb registered her first shutout of the season while
making 11 saves in Wheeling's 12-0 win over Palatine.

Fenwick Tournament - Day 1
The 10-team, 20-game tournament
gets underway on Thursday night, with #2 Lyons, #4 Mother McAuley, #7
Loyola, #17 Evanston, and #24 Neuqua Valley all in action tonight. The
biggest matchup of the night features McAuley and Loyola in a battle of
Catholic League teams.

Lake County Tournament
- The opening round of Lake County Tournament games begin on Thursday
night at Barrington, Lake Forest, Stevenson, and Vernon Hills. Check the
schedule for a complete list of games and participating teams.
#8 Homewood-Flossmoor at #20
Andrew
- The T-Bolts play their ninth game in the past two weeks against a
well-balanced and defensive-minded Vikings team that have jumped out to an
8-1 start in 2010.
#18 Sandburg at #14 Latin
- The Eagles survived an overtime game with Andrew to grab a key win on
Wednesday, but they'll need to be prepared for another tough and physical
encounter as they head to Latin to take on the fourteenth-ranked Romans.
