Shay Banton scored on the first play of sudden-death overtime to give the
Vikings an 8-7 overtime victory over Lincoln-Way North on Thursday evening. H-F
led for nearly the entire game, but Kyler Vanswol and Nick Roberts both recorded
steals and scored late in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime tied
at 6-6. Roberts also scored the first goal of overtime, but H-F's Russell Maanum
scored the equalizer in the second overtime period. Banton, Maanum, and Alec
Wojack each scored 2 times and Vikings' goalie Jake Bodnar totaled 15 saves in
the win. Roberts tallied 3 goals in the loss for LWN.

Mike Wagonblott scored 4 goals and Tony Marino added one score as the T-Bolts
erased a 3-1 deficit in the second half to emerge with a 5-4 victory over
Lincoln-Way Central.
