past Evanston 9-3.
YORK TOURNAMENT
Fenwick 12 York 11
Dan Bajda recorded 4 goals while the trio of Dan Lynch, Nate Fisher
and Payton Comstock each scored 2 times as the Friars earned a 12-11
victory over the tournament hosts on Friday afternoon. Isaac Marlott
registered 3 scores while Carson Hicks, Nick Ward and Will Yasdick
all tallied 2 scores in the loss for the Dukes.
Lyons 13 Mundelein 10
Victor Perez recorded 6 goals and Bobby Bolan notched 3 scores in
the Lions' 13-10 win over Mundelein. Jake Garcia netted 3 goals and
both Danny Oleinik and Hunter Magee scored 2 times in the losing
effort.
Loyola 11 New Trier 7
Kevin Considine poured in 7 goals and Kenny Sajnaj tallied 3 scores
as the Ramblers knocked off New Trier 11-7. Bo Barrett netted 4
scores in the loss for the Trevians.
York 10 St Ignatius 2
Carson Hicks recorded 3 goals and both Isaac Marlott and Will
Yasdick scored 2 goals in the Dukes' 10-2 win over St Ignatius.
Lyons 7 New Trier 5
Bobby Bolan, Eric Markey and Martin Brown all scored 3 goals to help
lift the Lions over New Trier 7-5. Danni Zhukov notched 2 scores in
the loss for the Trevians.
Mundelein 12 Loyola 8
Danny Oleinek and Jake Garcia scored 4 goals and both Hunter Magee
and Ryan Zentz scored 2 times to help the Mustangs get past Loyola
12-8. Kevin Considine recorded 6 goals in the loss for the Ramblers.
SLUH 11 St Ignatius 5
Q1: Michael Kreienkamp and Andrew Zimmerman scored straight out the
gate for the Jr Bills, but Peter Digenan and Moises Lopez evened
things up midway through the period. Kreienkamp added his second
late in the first quarter to give SLUH a 3-2 advantage at the first
break.
Q2: Kreienkamp, Luke Brawer, Zimmerman and Adam Simokaitis pushed
the lead to 7-3 with early second period goals. Luke Siwek added one
score for the Wolfpack. Kreienkamp added his fourth goal of the half
to give SLUH an 8-3 lead heading into the third quarter.
Q3: Zimmerman scored two straight goals to start the second half to
extend the Jr Bills' lead to 10-3. Luke Hunneke tallied one score
for SICP near the middle of the period to cut the lead to 10-4
entering the final period.
Q4: Brawer convered from 5m to increase SLUH's lead to 11-4 early in
the fourth quarter. Severino responded with a goal for the Wolfpack
to make it 11-5 but the visitors from Missouri claimed an 11-5
victory over St Ignatius.
