YORK TOURNAMENT
SLUH 16 Loyola 1
Colin Derdeyn and Mark Franz both scored 5 times to lead the Junior
Billikens to a 16-1 win over Loyola. John Pasquesi netted the lone
goal for the Ramblers in the loss.
New Trier 14 Mundelein 6
Alex Grant registered 3 scores and the trio of Chandler Tempest,
Chris Keller, and Will Kohr each added 2 goals in the Trevians' 14-6
win over Mundelein. Nick Olienik led the Mustangs with 3 scores in
the loss.
Fenwick 8 Lyons 6
Danny Farmer recorded 4 goals while both Andrew Bertschy and Ryan
Masi notched 2 scores as Fenwick overcame a late 5-4 deficit to beat
the Lions 8-6 to advance to the title game of the York Tournament.
George Lundgren scored 2 times, including a goal at the end of the
third period that gave LT a 5-4 lead. Mike Zahorik, Sam Szczepaniak,
Thomas Waters, and Tommy Kaptur each added one goal in the loss for
the Lions.
York 7 St Ignatius 6
Danny Stumpf scored 3 goals and Alex Marlott netted 2 scores as the
Dukes held off St Ignatius 7-6 in the final game of the preliminary
round on Saturday. Logan Frendreis and Tim Evely each added one goal
in the winning effort. Shane Hughes scored all 6 goals in the loss
for the Wolfpack.
Fenwick 8 SLUH 7
Ryan Masi scored 3 goals and Danny Farmer registered 2 scores as
Fenwick held off SLUH 8-7 in the title game of the York Tournament
on Saturday. Bailey Wendt, DJ Perez, and Mickey McGuire each
recorded one score in the win for the tournament champions. Eric
Castelton and Mark Franz each scored 2 times in the loss for the
Junior Billikens.
Lyons 8 Loyola 6
George Lundgren scored the game-winning goal and made a steal
leading to a late insurance goal for LT as the Lions fended off
Loyola 8-6 to claim third place at the York Tournament.

Chandler Tempest registered 4 goals and both Michael Krueger and Sam
Yavitt scored 2 times to help the Trevians earn a 14-8 win over York
on Saturday in the event's fifth-place game.
Mundelein 10 St Ignatius 9 (OT)
James Philbrick scored on Mundelein's second possession in overtime
as the Mustangs outlasted Ignatius 10-9 in sudden death overtime on
Saturday afternoon in the seventh place game of the York Tourney.
NILES WEST TOURNAMENT
DLS 25 Von Steuben 11
Roberto Rodriguez scored 5 goals to lead the Meteors past Von Steuben
25-11 on Saturday.
Waubonsie Valley 13 Maine West 13
Cameron Steele scored 8 times for Waubonsie Valley while Brendan Atwood
tallied 6 scores for West as the two squads finished in a 13-13 tie on
Saturday morning. John McWhirter added 2 goals, Jared Marrs and Wyatt
Tiscareno each scored once, and Steele also drew5 ejections for WVHS.
Stagg 16 Von Steuben 7
Nick Amendola totaled 3 goals as a balanced Chargers' attack secured a
16-7 victory over Von Steuben.
St Rita 6 Niles West 5
Eric Johnson scored 2 goals and four other players added one score as
the Mustangs held off Niles West 6-5 to advance to the event's title
game.
Metea Valley 17 Von Steuben 11
Keegan Reilly registered 9 goals to lead the Mustangs past Von Steuben
17-11.
Stagg 12 DLS 8
Nick Amendola scored 8 goals to help Stagg advance to the event's title
game after a 12-8 victory over DLS. Roberto Rodriguez notched 3 scores
in the loss for the Meteors.
Maine West 12 Von Steuben 5
Anthony Alonzi, Brendan Atwood and Richard Sevic each scored 2 goals to
help lift the Warriors over Von in the seventh-place game of the Niles
West Tournament. Ian Reyes and Wyatt Tiscareno each scored 2 times,
Jared Marrs put in one goal, and Jon McWhirter took a turn in goal and
stopped 6 shots in the win.
Waubonsie Valley 17 Metea Valley 13
Cameron Steele amassed 12 goals for the Warriors as they knocked off
Metea Valley 17-13 to win the fifth-place game of the event. Keegan
Reilly scored 7 times in the loss for the Mustangs.
Niles West 11 DLS 10
Adrian Durakovic and Max Yusim each scored fourth-quarter goals
after goalie Matt Lefler tied the game at the end of the third quarter
as Niles West completed an amazing comeback to beat DLS 11-10 in the
third place game of the Wolves' own tournament. The hosts trailed 7-1
after the opening period but battled back to claim the victory.
Durakovic tallied 5 goals, Yusim scored 3 times, and Lefler blocked 12
shots, including a penalty shot, in the win. Roberto Rodriguez scored 5
goals in the loss for the Meteors.
St Rita 12 Stagg 11 (OT)
Eric Johnson scored the game-winning goal in sudden-death overtime to
send St Rita past Stagg 12-11 in the title game of the Niles West
Tournament on Saturday. Johnson totaled 5 goals to lead the Mustangs to
the win.
NORTHSIDE TOURNAMENT
Bradley 16 Morgan Park 5
Charlie Waters scored 4 goals and Adam Schroeder netted 3 scores as the
Boilers knocked off Morgan Park 16-5. Jacob LaMore totaled 13 saves and
4 assists for the victors. Christian Cooper tallied 3 scores in the loss
for the Mustangs.
Morgan Park 19 Prosser 9
Christian Cooper poured in 15 goals to lead the Mustangs past Prosser
19-9.
Bradley 14 Prosser 5
Carlos Leal, Charlie Waters, and Dawson Schu each scored 3 goals and
Jacob LaMore stopped 16 shots as the Boilers beat Prosser 14-5.
Bradley 14 Northside 3
Carlos Leal tallied 6 scores and Charlie Waters notched 4 scores as the
Boilers beat the hosts 14-3 to win the Northside Tournament.
Morgan Park 19 Northside 12
Christian Cooper notched 11 scores and Richard Rhoden put in 6 scores as
Morgan Park knocked off the hosts 19-12 in the event's finale.
ST PATRICK TOURNAMENT
St Patrick 9 Homewood-Flossmoor 7
The Shamrocks put together a 6-0 run in the third period to pull away
from the Vikings and earn a 9-7 victory. Haden Santefort scored 4 goals
in the loss for H-F.
Brother Rice 16 Homewood-Flossmoor 8
The Crusaders outscored the Vikings 11-4 in the second half to earn a
16-8 win on Saturday afternoon. In the loss, Haden Santefort scored 3
times, John Schloen and Mike Mitchell each tallied 2 scores, and Lucas
Santefort blocked 16 shots for H-F.
Homewood-Flossmoor 14 Bremen 8
Haden Santefort totaled 7 goals and Luke Santefort made 15 saves to lead
the Vikings past Bremen 14-8. Johnny Schmidt and Michael Bonthron each
added 2 goals in the win for H-F.
St Patrick 6 Brother Rice 5
Joseph Gibson scored 3 goals and Tim Noble made 14 saves to lift the
Shamrocks over Brother Rice 6-5 in virtual title game of the St Patrick
Tournament on Saturday night. Anthony Barsono, Jason Schuler and Michael
Taylor each scored once in the win for the hosts.

Pat Burke totaled 6 goals and 5 steals while Jake Burke saved 12 shots
and a penalty attempt to help the Knights get past Chaminade 11-4.

victory over Richards in the seventh-place game at the LWE
Tournament.

Cassidy Degraff totaled 4 goals and 4 steals while Emma Henley,
Julia Porco, and Sarah Jackson each put in one score in LWN's 9-3
triumph over Andrew.
Alexys Knight, Jessica Gomes, and
Katie Kalvelage each scored once and Catherine Stouffer made 9 saves
in the losing effort.

Delaney Shepard and Kimmie Bernhard each scored 3 goals and Nikki

Caroline Walsh poured in 5 goals and Emma Hirt added 3 scores in the
Lions' 15-5 win over Mundelein. Grace Wackerman and Julia Cohen each
added 2 goals in the win for the hosts.
Evanston 4 Neuqua Valley 2
The Wildkits clinched a berth in the event's title game as Olivia
Everhart allowed only two goals in a 4-2 win over Neuqua Valley. Zoe
Salafatinos scored both goals and Issi French made 23 saves in the
loss for the Wildcats.
Lyons 20 Glenbrook South 3
Sara McTigue scored 4 goals, Julia Cohen netted 3 scores and six
other players (Almasa Duheric, Annika Moore, Caroline Walsh, Erin
Yang, Grace Wackerman, Maddie Cordell) tallied 2 scores for the
Lions as they defeated GBS 20-3. Jessie Wittenberg also made 7 saves
in the win for the hosts.
Neuqua Valley 7 Bremen 5
Morgan Miller registered 3 scores, Zoe Salafatinos notched 2 scores,
and Issi French blocked 14 shots to help the Wildcats earn a 7-5
victory over Bremen.
Bremen 10 GBS 6
Gretchen Behrens, Jillian Schultz, and Leah Wood each scored 2 goals
to lead the Red Jaguars to a 10-6 win over GBS in the fifth-place
game of the Lyons Tournament. Andie Stronach, Brittany Lira, Hannah
Alvarez and Sam Toland each added one goal in the win. Dana Grad
tallied 3 scores, Kelly Klish put in 2 scores, and Anna Hofmockel
netted one goal in the losing effort.
Mundelein 7 Neuqua Valley 6
The Mustangs closed out their tournament weekend with a second
straight win and a third place finish at the Lyons Tourney after
beating Neuqua Valley 7-6. In the loss, Morgan Miller recorded 5
goals and Issi French stopped 16 shots for NVHS. Sarah Neary also
scored once in the losing effort.
Lyons 10 Evanston 9 (OT)
Caroline Walsh nailed the game-winning goal in sudden death overtime
to send Lyons past Evanston 10-9 on Saturday in the title game of
the LT Tournament. Walsh totaled 5 goals while Julia Cohen and
Kaysie Stuba each netted 2 goals for the winners. Grace Wackerman
also added one score while Cohen dished out 5 assists and Walsh drew
5 ejections.
SALINE TOURNAMENT
Oak Park 6 Saline 2
Jilly Cronin and Mia Andreoli both scored 2 goals and Jordin Hale
made 9 saves as the Huskies earned a 6-2 win over Saline to start
the Saline Tournament with a victory. Genevieve Curry and Kevan
Casson each added one score for the winners.
Stevenson 10 Huron 3
Allison Travetto and Melissa Gartenberg each scored 4 times and
Joanie Newland chipped in with 2 goals as the Patriots improved to
3-0 in Michigan with a 10-3 victory over Huron.
Oak Park 7 Dexter 3
Genevieve Curry scored 4 goals, Jilly Cronin totaled 3 goals and 3
steals, and goalie Jordin Hale blocked 6 shots as OPRF defeated
Dexter 7-3 on Saturday in Michigan.
Oak Park 7 Pioneer 3
Genevieve Curry and Mia Andreoli each scored 3 times and Grace
Martin put in one score as the Huskies completed a perfect weekend
by beating Pioneer 7-3 on Saturday night. Jordin Hale made 7 saves
and allowed just 2 goals in the win for OPRF.
