Bailey Wendt and Ryan Masi totaled 6 goals apiece and Andrew Bertschy
dished out 6 assists and added a goal as the Friars earned a huge 21-3
win over St Ignatius on Wednesday night. Chez Daggs notched 3 scores,
Danny Farmer tallied 2 scores, and the trio of Colin Daly, DJ Perez, and
Jack Mahoney each put in one score in the victory. Mike Hill and Will
Skowron split time in goal and totaled 6 assists for the hosts.

Naperville Central 16 Waubonsie Valley 2
Phillip Emden totaled 4 goals to lead a balanced Redhawk attack as
they knocked off Waubonsie Valley 16-2 on Wednesday. The hosts built
a 9-0 lead en route to the double-digit win.

The Chargers went to LaGrange and earned a 15-14 upset win over
Lyons in nonconference play. Nick Amendola scored 7 times and Tommy
Witek added 3 goals in the win for the visitors. George Lundgren
totaled 7 goals in the loss for the Lions.
St Viator 12 Mt Carmel 0
Keegan Finn scored 4 goals and Frank Skorski earned a shutout as the
Lions blanked Mt Carmel 12-0. Alec Resendez, Shea Boyer and William
McEvoy each notched 2 scores in the winning effort.
York 7 Hinsdale Central 5
Danny Stumpf notched 5 goals to lead the Dukes to a 7-5 victory over
Hinsdale Central in a WSC contest on Wednesday night.

Duncan McDonald recorded 5 goals and Julian Escasa put in 4 goals as
the Dolphins upended the Eagles 17-0 on Wednesday.

St Ignatius 6 Fenwick 5
The Wolfpack remained perfect in 2015 after going to Fenwick and holding
off the Friars 6-5 in a Catholic League contest. Karen Juarez notched 2
scores while Diana Fernandez, Nina Mantich, Stephanie Lopez and Tara
White each scored once. Jenny Stelnicki also blocked 13 shots in the
win. Catie Wallace scored 2 goals, the trio of Clare Durkin, Eryn
Kulik and Shannon Forst scored once, and Anna Sullivan made 14 saves in
the one-goal loss.

Honore Collins recorded 3 goals and Olivia Everhart anchored a solid
defensive effort that allowed only 13 shots on goal as the Wildkits
earned a 7-4 win over GBN. Becca Schumm, Edie Block, Payton Gibson
and Sydney Bernadel each scored once and Everhart made 5 saves in
the Evanston win. Lindsay Fraser put in 3 goals and Patricia Doolan
scored once in the losing effort.
Hinsdale Central 10 York 9 (2 OT)
Mary Kress drilled the game-winning goal in sudden death overtime as
the Red Devils outlasted York 10-9 on Wednesday in Elmhurst. Kress
led the victors with 3 goals while Heather DeBoer, Nina Relias, and
Zoe Relias each netted 2 goals. Samara Lillioja also scored once and
Gracie Dunn made 15 saves in the win. Grace Achepohl totaled 4
goals, Carli York registered 3 scores, and Isabel Gil put in 2 goals
in the loss for the hosts.

Abby Warren poured in 7 goals and Giselle Striedinger added one
score in the Scouts' 8-5 victory over GBS. Dana Grad scored 2 times

Resurrection. Greta McDermott, Maggie Hennigan, Nellie Murphy and
Tess Bowens each lit up the scoreboard once in the win for McAuley.

Kaela Codo recorded 5 goals and 7 steals while Sara Campbell allowed
just 2 goals and stopped 7 shots in her first varsity start as the
Redhawks defeated Waubonsie Valley 13-2.

The top-ranked Huskies remained perfect with a 9-3 victory over STC
North. Stats for the winners coming soon. Monica Guyett totaled 2
goals and 8 steals and Katie Quinn scored once in the losing effort.

Jilly Cronin totaled 4 goals and 4 steals and Genevieve Curry added
3 goals as the Huskies beat Morton 13-2 on Wednesday evening. Mia
Andreoli added 2 goals and 4 assists, Maddie Wolfe scored 2 times,
and Jordin Hale blocked 11 shots in the win for OPRF.
