Northside Fights To Win Own Tournament
Christian Hernandez and Michal Rajski combined to
score 16 goals as the host Mustangs earned wins over Lane, Mather, Taft,
and Simeon to win their own event on Saturday afternoon. The key game was
played between CPS rivals NSP and Lane, as Luis Granja's two key goals
helped the hosts beat the Indians 7-6. Lane ended up in second with a 3-1
mark, Mather grabbed two wins to finish in third, and Taft squeaked past
Simeon 15-13 to end up in fourth place.
