Trevians Look Sharp
In Winning Mundelein Tournament
New Trier rolled to a perfect 4-0 mark at the first annual Mundelein
Tournament to remain undefeated in 2013 and claim their second tournament
title of the young season. Jordan Palmer led the way by scoring 14 goals
in wins over Hoffman, Lindbergh, Mundelein, and Lockport; the Trevians
used a fourth quarter surge to beat the Porters 12-5 in the title game on
Saturday night. Fremd beat Hoffman for the second time this year to claim
third place, the hosts edged St Patrick 4-3 in the fifth-place game, and
Hinsdale Central earned their first win of the weekend by beating
Lindbergh in the seventh-place game.

Mundelein 11 Lindbergh 4
Connor Black registered 5 scores and both Jason Rehor and John Brueckbauer
tallied 2 scores as the hosts opened the tournament with an 11-4 win over
Lindbergh.
New Trier 10 Hoffman 5
Jordan Palmer tallied 3 scores and Joey Ryan added 2 goals to lift the Trevians to a 10-5
victory over
Hoffman. Sang Han put in 2 goals in the loss for the Hawks.
Fremd 14 St Patrick 5
JP French totaled 6 goals and Luke Stark added 3 scores as Fremd beat St
Patrick 14-5. Emmett Ryan and Joseph Gibson both scored 2 goals in the
loss.
Lockport 14 Hinsdale Central 8
Dan Oldendorf scored 7 goals, Matt Olinski tallied 3 scores, and John
Goetz made 19 saves as Lockport knocked off Hinsdale Central 14-8 on
Friday night. Brogan O'Doherty put in 4 goals and George Koulouris added 2
scores for the Red Devils.
Hoffman 11 Mundelein 7
Adam Pasnicki scored 6 goals, Sang Han netted 3 scores, and Luke Iehl put
in 2 goals as Hoffman ended the night with an 11-7 win over the hosts.
Connor Black scored 4 times in the loss for the Mustangs.

Dano Johnson scored 3 times and Jack Riggio, Joey Ryan, Jordan Palmer, and
Maros Petro each scored 2 goals as New Trier beat Mundelein 14-5. Jason
Rehor led the Mustangs with 2 goals in the loss.
Hoffman 9 Lindbergh 6
Sang Han notched 4 scores and Adam Pasnicki and Luke Iehl scored 2 times
apiece in Hoffman's 9-6 win over Lindbergh.
Fremd 17 Hinsdale Central 11
JP French registered 9 goals and Luke Stark netted 4 scores in Fremd's
17-11 win over Hinsdale Central. Brogan O'Doherty netted 7 goals in the
loss for the Red Devils.
Lockport 10 St Patrick 5
Jake Elias tallied 3 goals and David Presz and Dan Oldendorf each scored 2
times as Lockport fended off St Patrick 10-5. Abe Melicio and Connor
O'Rourke both scored 2 goals in the loss for the Shamrocks.
New Trier 12 Lindbergh 4
Jordan Palmer recorded 5 goals and Jason Bartha scored 3 times as the
Trevians beat Lindbergh 12-4 to advance to the title game of the Mundelein
Tournament.
Lockport 10 Fremd 9
Dan Oldendorf poured in 7 goals as the Porters held off Fremd to earn a
10-9 victory. JP French recorded 5 goals and Luke Stark scored 3 times in
the loss for the Vikings.
Hinsdale Central 12 St Patrick 12
The Red Devils and Shamrocks finished in a 12-12 draw, with St Patrick
earning a spot ahead of HC in the championship round via tiebreaker.
Connor O'Rourke scored 6 goals and Emmett Ryan tallied 4 scores for the
Shamrocks, while Brogan O'Doherty tallied 6 goals for the Red Devils in
the high-scoring affair.
Hinsdale Central 8 Lindbergh 6 (7th place)
Brogan O'Doherty and Wade Kinney both registered 2 goals to help the Red
Devils beat Lindbergh 8-6 in the seventh-place game on Saturday.
Mundelein 4 St Patrick 3 (5th place)
Connor Black registered 2 goals and both Jason Rehor and Jude Krauss
tallied once score as the hosts held off St Patrick 4-3 in the fifth-place
game. Conor O'Rourke, Kyle Smollen, and Patrick Sisk each put in one goal
for the Shamrocks.
Fremd 9 Hoffman 5 (3rd place)
JP French scored 4 times and Luke Stark added 3 goals as the Vikings beat
Hoffman 9-5 to claim a third place finish at the Mundelein Tournament.
Adam Pasnicki scored all 5 goals for the Hawks in the loss.
New Trier 12 Lockport 5 (1st place)
Jordan Palmer scored 4 goals and both Dano Johnson and Joey Ryan scored 3
times as the Trevians used a 6-1 run in the final quarter to beat Lockport
12-5 and win the Mundelein Tournament over the weekend. Dan Oldendorf scored
3 goals and Jake Knowles tallied 2 scores for the Porters.
