Nicole Guyett scored 5 goals, the trio of Katie Difiglio, Katie Quinn, and
Kennedi Norris each recorded 3 goals, and Allyson Foor and the North
Stars' defense earned a 17-0 shutout over Hoffman.
Maine West 8 Buffalo Grove 6
Carly Romano, Cassidy Larsen, and Holly Wasicak each tallied 2 scores to
help the Warriors fend off BG 8-6 on Saturday morning.
STC North 11 Lake Forest 3
Nicole Guyett totaled 6 goals and 8 steals to lead the North Stars to an
11-3 victory over Lake Forest on Saturday. Katie Difiglio and Katie Quinn
each scored 2 times and combined to make 15 steals as well, while Angelica
Villa also added a goal for the winners.
Andrew 9 Maine West 7
Megan Hofer totaled 4 goals and 4 assists and Anna Tamulonis made 7 saves
as Andrew defeated Maine West 9-7 on Saturday. Alison Sifuentes, Alexys
Knight, Beth Koson, Natalia Bak, and Tamulonis each scored once in the
T-Bolts' victory.
Andrew 6 Buffalo Grove 5
Anna Tamulonis, Courtney Carter, and Megan Hofer each scored 2 times and
Tamulonis blocked 5 shots to help the T-Bolts beat Buffalo Grove 6-5 to
advance to the tournament title game against the hosts.
Maine West 10 Lake Forest 4 (3rd place)
Carly Romano recorded 6 goals and Emily Morrison added 2 scores as the
Warriors claimed third place by beating Lake Forest 10-4.
STC North 11 Andrew 6 (1st place)
Angelica Villa and Katie Difiglio each scored 3 goals, Katie Quinn and
Nicole Guyett both tallied 2 scores, and Katie Steele totaled one goal and
4 steals as the North Stars beat Andrew 11-6 to win their own tournament
on Saturday afternoon. Allyson Foor also made 5 saves in the win for the
North Stars. Megan Hofer recorded 4 goals and both Anna Tamulonis and
Natalia Bak tallied one score in the loss for Andrew.
