Brother Rice 7 Loyola 4
Kevin Mayer scored 4 goals to lead the Crusaders to a 7-4 victory over
Loyola. Cal Kennedy blocked 19 shots and Dave Jackson, Dan Birmingham, and
Matt Bachler each put in one goal in the Catholic League win for Rice. Jack
Considine tallied 3 scores and drew 3 ejections and Kyle Strobel made 9
saves in the loss for the Ramblers.

Fenwick 13 St Viator 10
The Friars remained perfect in 2013 after getting past St Viator 13-10 in
a Catholic League contest. Danny Farmer and Matt Bresnahan both scored 3
goals and Justin White and Trevor McLean both put in 2 scores for the
victors. Tommy McGuire also blocked 13 shots for Fenwick. Rob Battin
scored 5 goals, Keegan Finn added 4 scores, and Conor Loy provided 6
steals in the loss for the Lions.
Hersey 5 Prospect 4
Connor Reynolds and Jack Carroll each scored 2 times as Hersey edged
Prospect 5-4. Cam Mauer and Michael Morikado each tallied 2 scores in the
loss for the Knights.

Greg Johnson scored 7 times and Danny Warmowski tallied 2 scores as Lake
View defeated Mather 12-7. Danny Lima, Kenneth Agyeman, and Michael Velez
each scored once while Wamowski and Kevin Oehlberg combined to make 13

The Indians earned a 17-11 victory over Whitney Young in a CPS contest on
Wednesday. Seth Hughes scored 10 goals and Matt Gonzales blocked 9 shots
in the loss for the Dolphins.
Lincoln-Way North 10 STC East 9 (2 OT)
Curtis Thrun scored 4 goals, including the game-winner in sudden death
overtime, as the Phoenix earned a 10-9 victory over STC East. Kyle Mohan
added 2 goals and Pat Kelly made 12 saves in the comeback win for North.
Lockport 16 Lincoln-Way West 5
Dan Oldendorf scored 5 goals and Jeff Bentley added 3 scores in the
Porters' 16-5 win over LWW.
Lyons 18 Stagg 7
Peter Dore totaled 5 goals and 5 steals and Nathan Kriha tallied 4 scores
in the Lions' 18-7 victory over Stagg. George Duffy, Michael Dow, and Sean
McMahon each added 2 scores and Chris Sekula totaled 9 saves and 6 steals
for LT.
Mundelein 13 Buffalo Grove 8
Connor Black tallied 8 goals and both Jason Begrowicz and Jason Rehor
added 2 scores as Mundelein got past Buffalo Grove 13-8. Paul Vysotsky
added a goal and Art Kasemets drew 6 ejections in the win for the
Mustangs. Anisse Chaker and Brendan Meyer each scored 2 times in the loss
for the Bison.

Carl Arkebauer registered 4 goals in Ogden's 9-7 win over Roosevelt in CPS
action on Wednesday.

Mason Randle tallied 6 goals as the Grizzlies defeated Lindblom 17-9 on
Wednesday.

Billy Barth scored 4 times and both John Reyes and Shane Hughes scored 3
goals as the Wolfpack topped St Rita 15-11. Tym Zymon recorded 10 saves in

Kristen Kleist recorded 5 goals and both Amy Kopale and Fran Williamson
scored 4 goals as the Mighty Macs defeated Loyola 16-8 on Wednesday. Clare
Bryar also tallied 3 scores and Sarah Abbott blocked 20 shots in the win for McAuley. Evan Swenson scored 4
times, Katie Lynch and Marta Considine each scored 2 goals, and Meredith
O'Brien stopped 17 shots in the loss for the Ramblers.

East beat Maine West 8-4 in a CSL showdown on Wednesday. Carly Romano
scored all 4 goals for the Warriors while goalie Tara Woodford made 23
saves in the losing effort.
Mundelein 15 Barrington 12 (OT)
Karrie Kozokar scored 5 goals and Allie Boothe added 4 scores as Mundelein
edged Barrington 15-12 in overtime on Wednesday. Courtney Perrault scored
3 times, Michelle Barron scored 2 times, and Anna Ward made 9 saves in the
Mustangs' win. Lisa Danhauer registered 4 scores, Kelly Meckert put in 3
goals, and Sam Gavars scored 2 times in the narrow loss for the Fillies.
Maddy Burrell also saved 10 shots in the loss for Barrington.
Naperville North 9 STC North 4
Katie Horn recorded 4 goals, Taylor Bridgman added 3 scores, and Taylor
Stoner netted 2 goals to help the Huskies beat STC North 9-4. North goalie
Kate MacDuff also made 8 saves in the winning effort. Hannah Horsfall made
9 saves and Kennedi Norris, Maddie Jones, Megan Calabrese, and Nicole
Guyett each scored once in the loss for the North Stars.

Jane Patzke scored 4 goals to lead Northside to a 7-4 victory over Curie
on Wednesday evening.

Dana Callanan totaled 4 goals for R-B as they emerged with an 11-3 win
over the Hornets on Wednesday.
St Ignatius 13 Sandburg 6
Diana Fernandez and Tammy Stelnicki both registered 4 goals and Becky
Insalaco totaled 3 goals and 5 assists as St Ignatius knocked off Sandburg
13-6 in a nonconference game on Wednesday. Karen Juarez and Olivia
Evangelides each added one score for the victors. Brittany Kamper scored 2
goals in the loss, while Caitlin Krull, Kaitlyn Randich, Lauren Olson, and
Maggie Foley each tallied one score for the Eagles.
