Andrew Hodur poured in 7 goals to lead the Ramblers past Brother Rice 11-9 on Wednesday. Brennan Russell, Matt Bachler, and Peter Gurka each registered 2 goals in the loss for the Crusaders.

Andrew 11 Shepard 6

Brett Hofer totaled 3 goals and both Dan Cavato and Eric Villasenor scored 2 times in the T-Bolts 11-6 victory over Shepard. Colin Hovorka and Mike Brennan also combined to block 9 shots in the win for Andrew.

 

Barrington 13 Fremd 9

Marshall Mathias recorded 5 goals to lead the Broncos to a key 13-9 MSL West win over Fremd.

 

Conant 20 Schaumburg 11

Connor Schmitz recorded 5 goals and Braden LaMore scored 4 times in the Cougars' 20-11 victory over Schaumburg. Mihir Patel and Tyler Goehrke each added 3 goals in the winning effort. Tyler Gustafson totaled 4 goals and 3 assists, Frank Kovar put in 3 goals, and James Birriel registered 2 goals in the loss for the Saxons.

 

Curie 18 Jones-Payton 14

Jeronimo Chavez netted 10 goals, Ivan Ariza scored 6 times, and Oscar Hernandez tallied 2 scores in the Condors' 18-14 win over Jones-Payton. Steven Fitzgerald recorded 7 goals and Will Macellaio registered 5 scores in the loss for the Eagles.

 

Fenwick 17 Mt Carmel 4

Seventeen different players scored once for the Friars and Will Skowron blocked 10 shots as Fenwick beat Mt Carmel 17-4 in Catholic League play.

 

Lane 11 Mather 8

Max Boettcher scored 5 goals and both Israel Valle and Will Quan tallied 3 goals in the Indians' 11-8 win over Mather.

 

Maine West 11 Lake Forest 9

Adam Smolik-Valles, Brendan Atwood and Ethan Herrera each scored 3 goals and Tony Connor pitched in with 2 scores as the Warriors held off Lake Forest 11-9 in nonconference play. Paul Bilski returned to the lineup to stop 8 shots in the victory for West.

 

Morgan Park 24 Taft 23

Christian Cooper scored 6 times in the final period to help the Mustangs overcome a six-goal deficit and James Harris connected on the game-winning goal with five seconds left to give Morgan Park a 24-23 win over Taft. Cooper totaled 14 scores and Harris netted 4 goals in the comeback win for the Mustangs. Trevor Taylor registered 9 goals in the loss for the Eagles.

 

Palatine 17 Hoffman 1

Ryan Schlaiss totaled 8 goals and TJ May added 3 scores as the Pirates jumped out to a 10-1 lead at the half en route to a 17-1 win over Hoffman. Alex Adame and Marcus Carter-Buckman each tallied 2 scores while Colin White totaled 6 steals and 4 saves in the win. Jacob Baran and Sean O'Brien each added one score and Adame chipped in with 4 assists in the victory. Dirgham Nubani tallied the lone goal in the loss for the Hawks.

 

Prosser 10 Steinmetz 7

Kalvin Aguilar recorded 5 goals and Ivan Delgado scored 2 times as Prosser knocked off Steinmetz 10-7. John Boland registered 6 scores in the loss for the Silver Streaks.

 

Sandburg 16 Lincoln-Way North 8

Sarah Dolitsky tallied 5 goals and Stephanie Pappas notched 4 scores in the Eagles' 16-8 win over LWN.

 

St Ignatius 10 St Patrick 7

Brendan Stelmach and Shane Hughes both recorded 4 goals and Sam Enger totaled 5 saves and 5 steals as the Wolfpack held off St Patrick 10-7 in a key Catholic League matchup. Andreas Christy and Gunnar Glaab also scored one goal each in the win.

 

St Rita 12 St Viator 9

Eric Johnson notched 5 scores and Dan Sliazas put in 3 scores in the Mustangs' 12-9 win over the Lions. Matt Lopez added 2 scores and Chris McMahon blocked 22 shots as well in the winning effort. Keegan Finn recorded 5 goals, Zachary Benson tallied 2 scores, and Frank Skorski made 10 saves in the loss.

 

York 9 Oak Park 6

Danny Stumpf scored 3 goals, Logan Frendreis netted 2 scores, and Tyler McKenna blocked 10 shots as the Dukes defeated Oak Park 9-6 in a West Suburban Conference fixture.

The Ramblers outscored the Mighty Macs by two goals in the final period after the teams were virtually even the entire game to emerge with a 7-5 win on Wednesday night  in Catholic League play. Statistics for Loyola are unavailable. Claire Mueller scored 2 goals, the trio of Julie Olivares, Maggie Hennigan, and Molly O'Connell scored one goal apiece and Devin Flaherty made 6 saves in the narrow loss for McAuley.

Buffalo Grove 13 Hersey 12 (3 OT)

Katy Kirsh scored the game-winning goal in sudden-death overtime as the Bison outlasted Hersey 13-12 on Wednesday in an MSL East contest.

 

Fenwick 14 DLS 3

Maddie Nettleton scored 4 goals and Kate Mackie added 2 scores as Fenwick defeated DLS 14-3. Arianna Dakuras, Clare Durkin, Eryn Kulik, Jill Wickham, Lauren Poland, Molly McGuire, Noel Keen, and Shannon Forst all scored once in the win for the Friars.

 

Fremd 16 Barrington 11

Emma Hoffman and Tami Carlson both tallied 5 goals to lead the Vikings past Barrington 16-11. Megan Younker added 3 goals, Emily Kini put in 2 scores, and Nicole Warnstedt scored once in the win for Fremd. Mia Latimer poured in 7 scores and Elizabeth Connors made 7 saves in the loss for the Fillies.

 

Glenbrook North 8 Mundelein 7

Lindsay Fraser notched 3 scores, both Lauren Sulkowski and Patricia Doolan scored 2 times, and Colleen Doolan scored once as the Spartans edged Mundelein 8-7 on Wednesday. Emily Garcia led the Mustangs with 6 goals while Abbie Lukas put in one score in the loss.

 

Hinsdale Central 11 Bremen 9

Nina Relias scored 5 times to lead the Red Devils past Bremen 11-9 in a nonconference affair.

 

Lake Forest 13 Maine West 9

Abby Warren poured in 6 goals, Madeleine Pompe VanMeerdevoort scored 3 times, and Clare Wieland notched 2 scores in the Scouts' 13-9 win over Maine West. Catherine Pompe VanMeerdevoort and Giselle Striedinger both added one score in the victory for Lake Forest. Holly Wasicak recorded 6 goals while Emily Morrison totaled 2 goals, 4 assists, and 5 steals in the loss.

 

Morton 8 Northside 4

Jennifer Ascencion recorded 3 goals and Stephanie Torres netted 2 goals as the Mustangs beat Northside 8-4 on Wednesday evening. Alexis Rodriguez, Kayla Ruiz, and Nadia Pantaleon each added one score in the win for the hosts.

 

Palatine 14 Hoffman 2

Caroline Wojtas totaled 7 goals and 4 steals and Tess O'Brien made 4 saves and scored 2 goals as the Pirates knocked off Hoffman 14-2. Kristen Anderson led the defense with 7 steals and also scored once along with Caitlin McHugh, Hannah Jozefat, Kelsey Hank, and Mathilde Mogensen. Jenny Fermaintt tallied both goals in the loss for the Hawks.

 

Prosser 19 Steinmetz 13

Christina Fernandez registered 5 goals to lead the Prosser past Steinmetz 19-13 on Wednesday. Delanie Preston racked up 11 scores in the loss for the Silver Streaks.

 

Vernon Hills 15 Deerfield 5

Elena Ochoa notched 4 scores, both Emilia Pranica and Lauren Wood scored 3 times, and Arden Floom and Priscilla Yim both scored once in the Cougars' 15-5 win over Deerfield.
