Cameron Shewchuck recorded 3 goals and both Andrew Hodur and Jack
Nickele added 2 scores as Loyola defeated Stevenson 9-7. George Finn and
Regan Murphy each added one score and Trevor Prince saved 10 shots in
the Ramblers' victory. Mitchell Sokolsky poured in 6 goals and Alex
Divanyan scored once in the loss for the Patriots.
The teams were even at 3-3 after one quarter before Loyola took a 4-3
lead into halftime. However, three straight scores by Sokolsky gave
Stevenson a 6-4 lead midway through the third period. The Ramblers
responded with a 4-0 run of their own to close out the third quarter
ahead 8-6. Sokolsky trimmed the lead to 8-7 with a man-up goal with just
over one minute left in regulation, but the Ramblers responded by
drawing an ejection of their own, leading to Nickele's insurance goal
that sealed the win.

Jeronimo Chavez and Ivan Ariza both scored 5 goals to lead the Condors to a
16-2 win over Lane. Oscar Martinez added 3 goals, Manny Martinez scored 2

Valle tallied both scores in the loss for the Indians.

Danny Farmer recorded 7 goals, both Ryan Masi and Jack Mahoney scored 4
times, and Andrew Bertschy tacked on 3 scores as the Friars pulled away from
the Meteors in the second-half to earn a 20-8 win. Mike Hill also made 13
saves in the Fenwick win. Robert Rodriguez scored 4 times and Danny Pedro
chipped in with 2 goals in the loss for DLS.
Glenbrook South 16 Maine West 1
Brant Boczek registered 3 goals to help lift the Titans to a season-opening
16-1 victory over Maine West. Brendan Atwood scored the lone goal in the
loss for the Warriors.
Maine South 13 Maine East 9
Makai DeNeve-Arnam recorded 7 goals and Phil Wachowski tallied 3 scores to
lead Maine South to a 13-9 win over Maine East. Richard Pokorski totaled 4
scores while both Mateo Kozomara and Mike Babula put in 2 scores in the loss
for the Blue Demons.
New Trier 9 Lake Forest 5
Jack Riggio totaled 4 scores and Alex Grant netted 3 goals in the Trevians'
9-5 victory over Lake Forest.
Sandburg 18 Bremen 2
Zach Roper registered 5 goals, Alex Serranon and Ben Crnich each tallied 3
scores, and Mitch Zieler put in 2 scores as the Eagles knocked off Bremen
18-2.
Stagg 13 Argo 4
Filip Patrick tallied 4 scores, Connor Kaufmann put in 3 goals, and Peter
Krivanec blocked 14 shots in the Chargers' 13-4 win over Argo.
Waubonsie Valley 6 STC North 5
Bradin Krug and Cameron Steele both scored 2 goals and Jared Schreier and
Mitch Kroenig each added one score as Waubonsie Valley edged STC North 6-5.
Collin Bawolek provided 9 saves and 2 goals in the loss, while Nick Traxler
also scored 2 times and Ross Davis chipped in one score for the North Stars.

The fifth-ranked Patriots fended off sixth-ranked Loyola 10-7 in a
nonconference game in Lincolnshire on Tuesday to remain perfect (5-0) in
2014. Allison Travetto recorded 5 goals, Melissa Gartenberg scored 2
times, and goaltender Becky Callen made 10 saves in the winning effort.
Alexa Koltyar, Ashley Oliver, and Sara Ploch also joined in on the
scoring with one goal apiece for the victors. Claire Voss recorded 3
goals to lead the Ramblers' offense, while Emily Barr, Julia Sajnaj, Liz
Kyle, and Megan Murtagh also put in one goal for the visitors. Colleen
Ahern blocked 6 shots as well for Loyola.

The Red Jaguars jumped out to an early 5-1 lead and held off a late rally by
the Griffins to emerge with a 13-11 victory on Tuesday on a nonconference
contest. Hannah Schultz totaled 6 goals, Leah Wood totaled 3 goals and 5
assists, and Melissa Barrios stopped 9 shots in the win for Bremen. Aimee Schaff registered 4 scores and Lauren VanderVelde added 3
goals in the narrow loss for East, their first of the new season.
Fenwick 10 St Viator 1
The Friars continued their perfect start (5-0) to the season after traveling
to St Viator to earn a 10-1 win. Laura Foss registered the lone goal and
Nina Byskosh totaled 10 saves and 4 steals in the losing effort.

Brianna Breason recorded 4 goals and both Ally Cortez and Amanda Magana each
scored 3 times to help the Indians earn a 14-5 victory over Curie.
Maine West 10 Glenbrook South 7
Carly Romano scored 5 goals and Julia Huinker made 16 saves and blocked a
penalty shot to lead the Warriors to a 10-7 win over GBS. Anna Picchotti
added 2 scores and Holly Wasicak contributed one goal and 7 steals for the
victors.
Naperville Central 10 New Trier 4
The Redhawks raced out to an 8-0 halftime lead en route to a 10-4 victory
over New Trier on Tuesday evening. Emily Westlove led Central's attack with
3 goals and the trio of Jessica Fox, Kristina Altuve, and Michelle Spaits
each netted 2 scores in the win. Kaela Codo also scored one goal and totaled
7 steals for the Redhawks.
Oak Park 14 Homewood-Flossmoor 4
Katie Appell scored 5 times and Jordin Hale blocked 11 shots as OPRF stayed
perfect in 2014 with a 14-4 road win over H-F. Jilly Cronin and Mia Andreoli
also scored 2 goals apiece in the Huskies' victory. Megan Dunlavy tallied 3
scores and Amber Barney added one score in the loss for the Vikings.

Misty Gardner recorded 6 goals and Halima Prunty added 5 scores as Richards
beat Hinsdale South 13-7.
