MATCH OF THE DAY
Fenwick 11 Brother Rice 6
Matt Farmer scored 5 goals and Trevor McLean added 3 scores as Fenwick built
a 7-2 halftime lead and never looked back in an 11-6 victory over Brother
Rice. Danny Farmer added 2 scores and Tony Perez put in one score for the
Friars, who remain perfect (9-0) in 2013. Danny Sullivan also saved 8 shots
in Fenwick win. Dave Jackson and Kevin Mayer both recorded 2 goals, Ian
Disteldorf and Matt Bachler each scored once, and Cal Kennedy denied 15
shots in the losing effort for the Crusaders.

Lincoln-Way North 7 Bremen 6
Pat Budney scored 3 times and Tony Mikrut added 2 goals as the Phoenix
held off Bremen 7-6 on Monday night. Evan Surma and Kyle Mohan both scored
once in the win for North. Quinn Johnson recorded 4 goals and Tony
Zdanavicious stopped 11 shots in the loss for the Silver Snakes.
Lockport 18 Bradley 11
Dan Oldendorf recorded 5 goals and both Jake Elias and Jake Knowles added
4 scores as the Porters' got past Bradley 18-11.
Loyola 7 St Patrick 6
Ben Pasquesi, Cameron Shewchuck, and Jack Nickele each scored 2 times as
the Ramblers held off a late rally from the Shamrocks to earn a 7-6 road
win in Catholic League play. Jack Considine also scored once and Kyle
Strobel made 7 saves in the win for Loyola. Emmett Ryan scored 5 goals and
Conor O'Rourke added once score in the loss for the home squad.
Mundelein 11 McHenry 4
Connor Black recorded 5 goals and Paul Vysotsky added 3 scores as
Mundelein downed McHenry 11-4 on Monday evening. Art Kasemets added 2
goals and Jason Rehor chipped in with one score as the Mustangs built a
9-1 lead before giving up a few late goals.
Naperville North 10 Fremd 3
Eric Curia scored 3 goals and Gianmarco Duin added 2 scores as the Huskies
pulled out to a 5-1 lead in the opening quarter and never looked back in
beating Fremd 10-3. Michael Shabel also stopped 10 shots in the win for
North.
St Viator 10 DeLaSalle 6
Rob Battin registered 5 goals and Keegan Finn tallied 4 scores in the
Lions' 10-6 victory over DeLaSalle. Conor Loy chipped in with 5 assists
and Frank Skorski saved 8 shots in the win for Viator.
Stevenson 12 Palatine 11
Alex Divanyan scored the game-winning goal late in the fourth quarter and
Mitchell Sokolsky and Varun Mummadi both scored 3 times as Stevenson
fended off Palatine 12-11 on Monday night. Christian Kalfas totaled 4
goals and 4 assists, Kristian Kalev scored 3 times, and Peter Blackham
stopped 10 shots in the loss for the visiting Pirates.
York 11 Morton 3
Casey Kallans totaled 3 goals in the Dukes' 11-3 win over Morton in a West
Suburban Conference game.

The Huskies improved to 7-2 after traveling to Fremd and earning a 12-2
nonconference victory. Jillian Eiken and Dani DiMatteo both scored 3 goals
and Caitlin Holzer and Taylor Stoner each netted 2 goals in the win for
North. Kate MacDuff also blocked 8 shots for the victors. Katie Warnstedt
and Sam DiCanio each scored once in the loss for the Vikings.

Bridget Whited and Meg Lotzer each scored 2 goals to help Buffalo Grove
beat Vernon Hills 9-3.
Elk Grove 10 Prospect 8 (OT)
Kathryn Noonan tallied 5 goals and Alexa Zajac added 3 scores as the
Grenadiers knocked off Prospect 10-8 in overtime in an MSL East contest.
Kallie Shields and Nikki Neumann each tallied 3 scores in the loss, while
goalie Lauren Broz made 14 saves for the Knights.

The Wildcats remained perfect in 2013 after beating Schaumburg 14-5 on
Monday. Ashley Johnson scored 3 goals and Brittney Vasquez scored 2 times
in the loss for the Saxons.

Cassidy Degraff, Cheyenne Degraff, and Keriann Clarin each scored 4 times
as the Phoenix beat Bremen 15-8 on Monday in a nonconference contest.

Katie Appell scored 3 goals and Jordin Hale made 10 saves as Oak Park
defeated the Vikings 4-2 in a low scoring affair on Monday. Elizabeth
Williams also netted a goal in the win for the Huskies.

Emily Sowa scored 2 times and Theresa Godlewski chipped in with one goal
as Wheeling remained atop the MSL East standings after a 3-2 victory over
Hersey.
