Hicks made 10 saves to help the Grenadiers start the MSL season with an
11-6 victory over Meadows on Monday. Chris Doruff also scored 2 times

The Friars traveled to Arlington Heights to earn a 13-8 victory over St
Viator in a Catholic League contest. Danny Farmer scored 4 goals, the
trio of Chez Deggs, Jack Mahoney, and Ryan Masi each scored 2 times, and
Will Skowron made 7 saves in the winning effort. Keegan Finn and Shea
Boyer each scored 3 times, Alec Resendez netted 2 goals, and Frank
Skorski blocked 7 shots in the loss for the Lions.

Dylan Assmann recorded 6 goals and Robert DePau notched 5 scores as the
Vikings jumped out to a 9-1 lead en route to a 23-8 victory over
Hoffman. Zach Starkey added 4 goals, Nate Jordan tallied 3 scores, and
Dan Anderson put in 2 goals in the winning effort for Fremd.

John Roberts totaled 5 goals and drew 4 ejections and both Brendon
Johnson and Jack Brownlee scored 2 goals to lead the Spartans past
Hinsdale Central 12-6. The hosts used a 6-1 run in the second half to
pull away from the Red Devils, who had closed the gap to 6-5 in the
third quarter. Jonah Lillioja tallied 3 goals in the loss for the
visitors.

Will Macellaio registered 5 goals and Jared Williams netted 4 scores
in the Eagles' 16-4 victory over Little Village.

Mundelein proved to be an unwelcome host to York as the Mustangs
earned a 14-10 win over the Dukes on Monday evening. Alex Marlott,
Ben Howlett, and Danny Stumpf each scored 2 goals in the loss for
the visitors.

Hector Coz recorded 6 goals and both Ivan Delgado and Julian Jordan
netted 2 goals as Prosser defeated Westinghouse 12-2 on Monday.

The Wolfpack claimed their second Catholic League win of the season by
fending off St Rita 18-15. Shane Hughes scored 11 goals and both Jack
Dunn and Theo Mossman tallied 2 scores in the win for SICP. Eric Johnson
recorded 7 goals and Dan Sliazis notched 4 scores in the loss for the
Mustangs.
St Patrick 19 Mt Carmel 6
Joseph Gibson scored 4 times and Dan Walsh notched 3 scores in the
Shamrocks' 19-6 triumph over Mt Carmel. Michael Taylor and Jason Schuler
each added 2 goals in the Catholic League win for Pats.

Nate Reiff poured in 7 goals and Daniel Levy scored 2 times in the

Carmen Rosas and Emily Weingart each scored 3 goals and both
Barbra Smigla and Miranda Fenlon put in one score apiece as Conant
regained the upper-hand on Palatine by earning a closely-contested 8-7
win on Monday in an MSL West contest. Maddy Demaret also blocked 11
shots and earned 4 steals for the victors. Caroline Wojtas recorded 5
goals, both Caitlin McHugh and Mathilde Mogenson scored once and Tess
O'Brien saved 13 shots in the loss for the Pirates.

Olivia Everhart stopped 7 shots and recorded a shutout as the
Wildkits defeated Whitney Young 12-0 on Monday. Becca Schumm,
Giselle Figueroa, Maddie Schumm, Millie Rosen, Payton Gibson, and
Stephanie Sheikh all factored into the scoring for the victors, who
stayed perfect thus far in 2015.

Gracie Dix scored 3 goals, including the game-winning goal in the
second overtime period, Niki Neumann tallied 2 scores, and Lauren
Broz saved 20 shots as the Knights survived overtime to beat Hersey
7-6 on Monday. Danielle McCallister and Michelle Vuong each put in
one score in the winning effort. Katie Lutz registered 3 scores,
Caleigh O'Neill tallied 2 scores, and Emily Van Grinsven made 9
saves in the loss for the Huskies.
