Lockport Cruises To
Hinsdale South Tournament Title
The Porters earned three big victories over Andrew, Hinsdale South, and STC East
on Saturday to win Hinsdale South's Tournament. Dan Oldendorf, David Presz, and
Jake Elias combined to register 25 goals and goalie John Goetz blocked 41 shots
in Lockport's impressive Saturday. Andrew grabbed second place after edging STC
East by one goal after Mike Tamulonis scored the game-tying and game-winning
goals. The T-Bolts also earned a convincing 19-8 victory over Hinsdale South.

Lockport 14 Andrew 3
Matt Olinski scored 4 goals, David Presz put in 3 scores, and Jake
Elias netted 2 goals as Lockport built a 10-0 lead en route to a
14-3 win over Andrew. John Goetz recorded a first-half shutout and
saved 13 shots in the Porters' win. Chuck Walters, Eric Tamulonis,
and Sean Emerson each tallied one goal in the loss for the T-Bolts.
Lockport 19 Hinsdale South 6
Dan Oldendorf, Jake Elias, and Jake Knowles each recorded 4 goals
and David Presz added 3 scores as the Porters knocked off Hinsdale
South 19-6. John Goetz also stopped 15 shots for the victors.
Andrew 13 STC East 12
Mike Tamulonis scored the game-tying and game-winning goals to lead
Andrew past STC East 13-12 on Saturday. Tamulonis totaled 3 goals
and Eric Tamulonis scored 4 times in the victory. Mitch Phelps put
in 7 goals in the loss for the Saints.
Lockport 11 STC East 5
Dan Oldendorf scored 6 goals and John Goetz made 13 saves as
Lockport beat STC East 11-5. Jake Elias added 3 scores in the win
for the Porters.
Andrew 19 Hinsdale South 8
Alex Gacek and Nick Bancato each scored 3 goals and Kevin Bukauski
and Mike Brennan combined to stop 11 shots as the T-Bolts beat
Hinsdale South 19-8. Ryan O'Toole scored 5 goals in the losing
effort for the Hornets.
