TOURNAMENT RECAP (March 15-16)
Bradley Claims Bremen Tournament Title
Bradley snuck past Hinsdale South on Friday night in the opening
round and then got past both Bremen and Morton to win the Bremen Tournament on
Saturday afternoon. Drew L'Ecuyer scored 10 goals and Rachel Thorson scored 8
times for the Boilers' during their perfect weekend. Morton earned two wins to
place second, while Marian got past the hosts 13-5 in the third-place game.
Stagg topped Richards for fifth-place, while Hinsdale South grabbed their first
win of the weekend by beating Argo 13-1 in the final game of the day for both
teams.

Bremen 9 Stagg 7
Hannah Alvarez, Hannah Egan, and Jacky Zuniga each tallied 2 scores as the
hosts held off Stagg to earn a 9-7 win to start their own tournament on
Friday. Morgan Hickman and Natalie Graves each registered 3 goals in the
loss for the Chargers.
Bradley 9 Hinsdale South 8
Drew L'Ecuyer and Rachel Thorson both recorded 3 goals and Celine Dalde
added 2 scores in the Boilers' 9-8
victory over Hinsdale South. Amber Forbes also denied 13 shots in the
one-goal win for Bradley. Kelsey Barry scored 3 goals in the loss for the
Hornets.

Anahi Torres recorded 5 goals to lead Stagg past Hinsdale South 8-7.

Richards topped Argo 11-2. Ally Murray put in both goals in the loss
for the Argonauts.

10-4 win over Bremen. Amber Forbes blocked 14 shots in the win for the
Boilers. Sarah Minnich tallied 4 scores in the loss for the
Red Jaguars.
Morton 10 Marian 4
Samantha Nunez registered 5 scores for the Mustangs as they beat Marian
10-4 on Saturday afternoon. Paige Wieser notched 3 scores in the loss for
the Spartans.
Hinsdale South 13 Argo 1 (7th place)
Kelsey Barry and Sara Ofenloch both tallied 3 scores in the Hornets' 13-1
win over Argo. Ally Murray put in the lone goal for the Argonauts.
Stagg 12 Richards 9 (5th place)
Anahi Torres recorded 5 goals as the Chargers finished in fifth place
after beating Richards 12-9. Lauren Bauman netted 4 scores for Richards.
Marian 13 Bremen 5 (3rd place)
Paige Wieser scored 5 goals to help Marian earn a third-place finish with
a 13-5 victory over the hosts. Sarah Minnich contributed 3 scores in the
loss for the Red Jaguars.
Bradley 13 Morton 8 (1st place)
Drew L'Ecuyer tallied 5 scores and Rachel Thorson added 4 goals in the
Boilers' 13-8 title game win over Morton. Celine Dalde and Sam Ashline
both added 2 scores for Bradley, while Amber Forbes blocked 16 shots for
the tournament winners. Cindy Hernandez scored 4 goals
in the loss for the Mustangs.
