Tyler Hunt scored the
game-winning goal with 1:13 remaining in regulation to help lift Waubonsie
Valley to a 14-13 victory over STC North. The North Stars made up a
four-goal difference in the final quarter, but Hunt's goal made the
difference and the Warriors' defense came up big in the final minute to
hold on for the win. Andrew Preusse scored 4 times in the loss, while
Justin Jacobson and Kyle Passini each added 3 scores for the North Stars.
GIRLS
Barrington 14 Palatine 9
Catherine Byron totaled 5 goals
and Chloe Padula added 3 scores in Barrington's 14-9 victory over Palatine
on Tuesday. Brooke Fanslow and Erin Moston combined to stop 11 shots for
the Fillies, while Kate Luedtke and Laura Danhauer also scored 2 times in
the win. Paige Wainwright scored 3 goals in the loss for the Pirates.

Kristi Burke added 5 goals, and both Andie Cobb and Jessica Southern
recorded 3 scores as Conant powered their way past Hoffman 20-10 on
Tuesday. Lucie Banahan also made 11 saves for the Cougars in an
ejection-filled game that saw the teams combine for 20 kickouts. Rachel
Gallo recorded 6 goals and Sharon Sturnfield added 3 scores in the loss
for the Hawks.
