The Patriots welcome Fremd, Niles West, and Wheeling for an afternoon
tournament that gets underway at 1:00pm. Stevenson went 3-0 to claim the
event last season but will face three much-improved squads this time around.

Collin Kapecki tallied 5 goals, Alex Kapecki and Luke Gable-Preze each
scored 4 goals, and Dan Maleski put in 3 scores in Stevenson's 18-1
triumph over Wheeling. Rahul Arun also scored 2 goals in the win for the
hosts. Nate Reiff scored the lone goal in the loss for the Wildcats.
Fremd 8 Niles West 2
Dylan Assmann scored 3 goals, Robert DePau put in 2 goals and Zac Keper
made 10 saves to help the Vikings beat Niles West 8-2 on Saturday
afternoon. Alex Nicholas, Ryan Dudar, and Zach Starkey each scored once
as well for the victors.
Stevenson 16 Fremd 4
Collin Kapecki, Cris Tomasetti and Kurt Holzer all scored 4 goals and
Andrew Shashin netted 2 goals in the Patriots' 16-4 victory over Fremd.
Rahul Arun led the defense with 5 steals and Dan Maleski chipped in with
4 assists for the winners.
Alex Nicholas, Conrad
Wojda,
Dan Anderson, and Nate Jordan each scored once in the loss for the
Vikings.
Fremd 15 Wheeling 3
Alex Nicholas recorded 4 goals, Dan Anderson and Dylan Assmann each
chipped in with 3 scores, and Zac Keper made 11 stops for the Vikings in
a 15-3 win over the Wildcats.
Conrad Wojda and
Robert DePau also tallied 2 goals apiece in the winning effort. Nate
Reiff scored 2 goals in the loss for Wheeling.
Stevenson 13 Niles West 2
Dan Maleski scored 3 goals while Andrew Shashin, Collin Kapecki, Kurt
Holzer and Liam Holzer each put in 2 scores for the Patriots as they
defeated Niles West 13-2 to finish their own event with a perfect mark.
Shashin also contributed 3 assists, 3 steals, and drew a pair of
ejections.
