own event, fending off Lane in the virtual title game 10-8.

saves as the Cougars won their tournament opener over STC East 12-3.
Paulina Chowaniec also scored 2 goals while both Claire Rosas and

Carmen Rosas totaled 8 goals and Maddy Demaret blocked 15 shots and made
9 steals in the Cougars' 16-7 victory over Lake Forest. Paulina
Chowaniec added 3 goals and Claire Rosas scored 2 times in the win for
the hosts. Abby Warren and Olivia Warsek each netted 2 goals in the loss
for the Scouts.
Lane 8 STC East 7
Anna Puralewski and
Jazmin Rivera both
netted 3 goals to lead the Indians past STC East 8-7. Lexy Kos notched 4
scores in the loss for the Saints.
STC East 13 Lake Forest 12 (OT)
Lexy Kos recorded 7 goals, including the game-winner in sudden-death
overtime, as the Saints outlasted Lake Forest 13-12. Haley Salveson and
Julia Saunders each added 2 goals for East in the victory. Abby Warren
and Grace Donahue both scored 4 times in the losing effort.
Conant 12 Lane 0
Maddy Demaret made 17 saves and earned a shutout as Conant beat Lane
12-0 to win their own event on Saturday. Carmen Rosas tallied 5 scores,
Claire Rosas put in 3 goals, and both Paulina Chowaniec and Shannon
Maloney scored 2 times in the win.
