TOURNAMENT REPORT
Preview
The fifth-annual Palatine Tournament provides a much
better look at how several of the top teams in the state will fare during the
upcoming season. This year's edition will be no exception, as some of the
state's best do battle in a nine-team tournament that features six exciting
contests on Friday night followed by three morning games on Saturday before the
championship round begins. Loyola edged New Trier to win the event last year,
but they will have their work cut out for them if they hope to stave off the
rest of the stacked field.
Note: The event will take place at H-F & Mundelein on Friday night and
exclusively at H-F the next day.
