Haden Santefort and Jonny Schmidt each scored 4 goals and Lucas
Santefort blocked 12 shots to help the Vikings grab a 19-5 nonconference
win over Hinsdale South.

Mike Rubino and Tom Trojniar each contributed 3 goals for the Phoenix as
they downed Shepard 17-3 in the season-opener for both teams.
Mundelein 16 Palatine 7
Mike Ward totaled 7 goals and Nick Oleinik notched 4 scores to help lead
Mundelein to a 16-7 win over Palatine on Tuesday. The pair also combined
to make 8 steals on the defensive end, while Jeremiah Lam stopped 6
shots and made 10 steals in the victory.
Naperville North 13 York 3
Drake McClure poured in 6 goals and Jack Roche saved 21 shots to lead
the Huskies to a 13-3 triumph over York on Tuesday night. David holzer
also tallied 3 goals in the winning effort for North. Kolin Bergl, Danny
Stumpf, and Tim Evely each scored once in the loss for the Dukes.
Neuqua Valley 15 Barrington 8
Simon Shatinsky scored 8 goals and Austin Mollway made 12 saves as
Neuqua outscored Barrington 10-4 in the second half to earn a 15-8
victory on Tuesday. Joey Dalesandro also totaled 3 goals and 7 assists
in the win for the Wildcats, while Troy Salafitanos netted 2 scores and
both Ian Ivkovich and Scott DePuy scored once.
Riverside-Brookfield 11 Jones-Payton 10 (OT)
Dominic Rosa scored the game-tying goal in the fourth period and Dan
Magee notched the game-winner in the extra session as the Bulldogs
fended off the Eagles 11-10 in Chicago on Tuesday night. Rosa put in 3
scores and Magee netted 2 goals in the win for the visitors. Jared
Williams registered 6 scores in the loss for the hosts.
Stevenson 20 Evanston 2
Alex Kapecki scored 5 goals and both Andrew Shashin and Collin Kapecki
recorded 4 scores to help lead Stevenson past Evanston 20-2. Cris
Tomasetto also scored 3 goals in the win for the Patriots.
St Viator 9 Hersey 6
Keegan Finn and Shea Boyer both registered 3 goals while Zachary Benson
netted 2 scores in the Lions' 9-6 victory over Hersey. Frank Skorski
also rejected 9 shots in the win for Viator.
Wheeling 11 Maine East 8
Nate Reiff registered 6 goals to help lead Wheeling past Maine East 11-8
on Monday night.

Palatine 11 Mundelein 4
Caitlin McHugh and Caroline Wojtas each scored 4 goals and Tess O'Brien
debuted in goal with a 15-save performance as Palatine earned an 11-4
victory over Mundelein on Tuesday night.
Ashley Helminski, Kristin Anderson, and Mathilde Mogensen each added one
goal while McHugh also contributed 5 assists. Emily Garcia scored 2
times and both Denise Casali and Ellie Wingender scored once in the loss
for the Mustangs.

Elk Grove 17 Vernon Hills 6
The Grenadiers started off their season in fine fashion with a 17-6
nonconference win over Vernon Hills. Lauren Wood scored 4 goals and
Emilia Pranica netted 2 scores in the loss for the Cougars.
Evanston 7 Maine West 2
Millie Rosen recorded 4 goals, Payton Gibson scored 2 times,
and Olivia Everhart blocked 8 shots to help the Wildkits defeat the
Warriors 7-2. Mira Ortegon also chipped in with one goal in the Evanston
victory. Emily Morrison and Holly Wasicak each scored once and Lily
Jensen made 16 saves in the losing effort for the Warriors.

Amber Barney totaled 3 goals and Rebecca Tanner stopped 9 shots and did
not allow a goal after the first period as the Vikings defeated the
Porters 6-1 on Tuesday. Alexis Anderson also tallied 2 goals and Kelly
Morrissey scored once in the win for H-F.
Marian 15 Jones-Payton 14
Mae Van Beest poured in 11 goals to help lift Marian Catholic over
Jones-Payton 15-14 in a nonconference affair on Tuesday. Diana Fernandez
added 2 scores while both Genna Helsel and Killian McDonald each added
one score for the Spartans. Rebecca Sudworth led J-P with 7 scores, Mara
Hoplamazian put in 3 goals, and Meredith Lohman netted 2 goals in the
losing effort.
Naperville North 13 York 7
Katie Horn tallied 6 goals, Taylor Stoner netted 3 scores, and Christina
McBride blocked 9 shots as the Huskies knocked off York 13-7. Olivia
Eiken added 2 goals and both Alli Horn and Lauren Liberio scored once in
North's victory.
Neuqua Valley 10 Schaumburg 1
Zoe Salafatinos scored 5 goals, Morgan Miller notched 4 scores, and Issi
French denied 18 shots and let in just one goal in the Wildcats' 10-1
victory over Schaumburg.
Catherine Carroll, Heather Sterchele and Amy Blencowe rounded out the
scoring for Neuqua with one goal apiece in the win.
Wheeling 24 Deerfield 8
Theresa Godlewski recorded 14 goals and Argelia Diaz totaled 5 goals, 7
assists, and 7 steals as Wheeling opened their season with a 24-8 win
over Deerfield.
Julianna Isayeva and
Paulina Stolarska each added 4 goals in the victory for the Wildcats.
