Elk Grove Grinds Out Highland Park Tournament Title
The Grenadiers outlasted Glenbrook North 10-8 in the title game after defeating Barrington and the hosts earlier in the day to emerge with the Highland Park Tournament title and a 3-0 record. The Spartans took second after beating Deerfield and Meadows, while Barrington bounced back from their loss to Elk Grove to finish in third place. The host Giants upended former partner Deerfield in the fifth-place game 11-9.

Isaac Shapiro recorded 8 goals to lead Highland Park to an 11-9 victory over Deerfield. Danny Hoffman, Marc Weiss, and Trevor Hoffman also scored once in the Giants' first win of the day. Alex Howard and Jack Cawley each scored 3 goals for Deerfield, while Matt Zull also tallied 2 scores in the loss.
